For local people who live in the area it is okay. For me the location was far away and inconvenient. The overall experience with uhaul is overpriced and equipment is difficult to find for anything other than local rental. The equipment was dirty, poorly maintained and I had to hook up my own equipment to use.PERRY B.

Nothing, because I didn't have a u-haul reserved. However, I walked in and asked for a u-haul. They had one available with no reservation, therefore I rode away with a u-haul. Reservations are required but they worked with me and I was GRATEFUL!!TINA E.

After contacting a U-haul in Brookhaven MS, she was very UNFRIENDLY and didn't have the time to help me find a trailer. So I drove almost 40 miles and found one at JP's. Truck was dirty. System was down when I went to pick up. Took 2 hours to get the truck. It was 30 miles out of my way and not where I wanted to pick up. The people were nice but I won't be using uhaul again bc of alllll the issues we had.JESSICA G.
I use JPQuick Stop only because UHaul assigns it as a drop off location. The personnel are not helpful. It takes THREE people to check the equipment in - and some of them do not stay onsite. The girl onsite has to CALL her brother to come to the site to check the equipment. The first time I tried to drop off a truck the girl told me they did not â€œdo that.â€ I had to call UHaul with her standing there while I was on the phone with UHaul to tell her HOW to accept the equipment. If I'm assigned this location in the future I plan to contact UHaul for a change in drop-off location.BARBARA H.

The person that helped hook up trailer lights cause the light wires to get caught under the automatic brake assembly shorting out the fuses on the truck and breaking wires. No lights till I stopped and replaced fuses and spliced the wires together. Also safety chains are to long. You have to twist them to keep from dragging on the ground.ronald P.

The U-Haul rental service is very unimportant to the owners of the convenience store they are more interested in making you wait while they cut sandwich meat sweep the floor talk on the phone or take care of store customers the U-Haul is very secondary to them and was not in any way concerned about takin care of me in a professional expeditious way as a U-Haul customer saying they were simply and the U Haul Seemed like they were in it for a little extra cash.MICHAEL M.

If you live anywhere close to a budget truck rental I suggest you rent from them. I was just told by UHal when I called complaining that my truck rental was NOT at the Crystal Springs location on Sunday so I was unable to move the day I had planned, they told me their was no guarantee on a truck rental when you make a reservation!! They also told me my pick up was in Jackson Ms after I explained to them I walked into the UHal & Crystal Springs that made my reservation to pick up at that location, the CS location were the ONLY ones that I have delt with at UHal that has been remotely helpful!! Also, I had confirmed my rental & pick up location to be in CS Miss the day before, someone from UHal had went into the system & changed my pick up to be in Jackson Hwy 80 location!! After talking to 3 people Sunday & confirming my pick up Sat I also talked to UHal 3-4 times today. I also spoke back to the Crystal Springs location today were I was told some one went back in the system & canceled my reservation on Saturday. So I'm assuming this was to cover my complaint. I have never been so disappointed for a moving co to tell me my reservation is not guaranteed when they must be aware of hiring people to load your truck, not to mention the schedule you have in order to move out of state, not to mention being a female you want to be at your destination before dark. I am truly disappointed. Moving is stressful without worrying if the people you are renting a moving truck from is changing your reservation & not guarantee a truck rental!!!JOANN G.

The first place where I had the orginal reservation was closed and I waited about 30 minutes for it to open. It never did. Then I had to go to several phone location to get the correct person to reschedule putting me behind about an hour. When I finnally got rescheduled, the new location did not have all the information and that took about another 30 minutes.Archie A.

The Crystal Springs location was find, the gentle man there was very nice and helpful. But i was booked to pickup in Brookehaven, Ms, @ 10:00 am on Sat. May 18 2013, i called when i was close to Brookhaven and there was no truck and i had to drive back 30 mins, to Crystal Springs and then 30 mins. back to where i was going to use the equipment, so that put me an hour off track and all i was told was that i could pick up in Brookehaven or wait for 3 hours to see if a trailer would be checked back in. Not happy with the customer service department what so ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!KIMBERLY G.

U-Haul should have trucks available to rent when they are needed by the customrer. The customer should not have to wait for days or weeks. Moving is time semsitive. The customer should take priority and a truck should be made available ASAP. The Jp Quick Stop owners were woderful.
