THOMAS CNo one was present when I dropped off the trailer.
JEFFREY MTrailer was quite damaged so could not even use door holder. Also had to pick up here instead of Victoria even though when I went past the Victoria one there was a 4x8 trailer there. Also trailer leaked water in through floor and damaged some boxes
LEON HMy rental contract called for a furniture dolly but when I got there the location didn’t have one. This made my move more difficult. Also, this location was not convenient time but I had to go had to a truck closer to the size I wanted. U-Haul called and said they couldn’t supply the vehicle size I reserved and this forced me to go to this location for the closest size available
ROBERT MStaff were super friendly and helpful at both the Ladysmith and Pitt Meadows offices and the phone staff were super helpful too.

WAH LHave the truck that was reserved actually available and provide solutions when you drop the ball . The young man acting as the agent was very helpful and polite. U-Haul staff were rude and not helpful
Gregory S- employee showed up 45 minutes late to open the store, resulting in our scheduled plans being disrupted - we were required to purchase a $20 converter as Uhaul did not notify us that one was necessary, nor did they provide us with one despite this being a common thing - the up-sale on the website was incredibly intrusive - hitch lock was broken on the trailer, thus resulting in the trailer to fly off our truck while unloading a 500LB item
Duncan SI imagine it's better if you're dropping it off during business hours but I did have a hard time finding the drop off box for the keys as there was no signage on it. Someone happened to come along and told us to leave it in the mailbox on the fence, and I didn't receive any communication asking me where the key went so I imagine that must have been the right place but even just having a uhaul sticker on the box would have been helpful.

PHILIP HYou can honour reservations. We got our vehicle 26 hours late, not in Victoria as promised but a two-hour drive away in Ladysmith, in a torrential rainstorm. We could not relax for a moment in our dealings with UHaul. your performance was abysmal.
IAN DAarras Auto was where we were told we could return the truck.FIX YOUR WEBSITE! THEY NO LONGER WORK WITH U-HAUL! WE DID NOT FIND OUT UNTIL WE TRIED TO RETURN THE TRUCK THERE!!!GET IT TOGETHER, PEOPLE!!!!

Jamie MI was told when I rented the truck it had between half and 3/4 tank of fuel. the gauge showed just under 3/4 . I drove the truck a total of 32 Kilometers from Junction mini storage and back to Junction mini storage. the 32 kilometers was confirmed by the attendant and the gas gauge showed just a hair below 3/4 tank.I had put $25.00 gas into the truck before returning it. ( gas @ 174.9 a litre) I was then charged a surcharge of $14.00 for extra fuel. although the attendant confirmed all this information he had no information he could do nothing about it. It is a poor set up to rent out or accept a returned truck with anything less than a full tank.

Paul CHave the computer program working. It was gliching out. Was also charged a day late fee even though we returned it a day early. Still need to deal with that. I will never recommend U Haul to anyone moving. It was a terrible experience since the day we had to go get 5 hrs away.

Robert KI was was over charged for the fuel I used like im some moron they charged me for 17L of gas when I only drove 43km making sure to to keep the fuel economy needle moderately low. Charging me for 10L would be somewhay understandable but charging for 17L when thats roughly a quarter of a tank when I used most likely just a little less than half of that is insane. I would recommend my friends and anyone I know to steer clear of these goofs!

simon sI couldn't get the app working on my phone and during driver registration the website threw an error (something with Azure). I messaged the location advising that I will have to complete the reservation in store due to technical issues. I promptly received a reply and got the help needed when I showed up. Worth mentioning that a U-Haul representative also replied to my email about the tech issues. Thank you all for a great service, much appreciated. Keep the human service alive, technology is not fail proof.

Lianne WFor me with the location near where I moved to and from it served me well. I quick round trip between the storage unit and back. The truck and storage both located at the same place. Reasonably priced with an easy process of renting and returning. I’d use these guys again
Dave LHad a great experience from the island over to the mainland. Some confusion with the booking but Uhaul worked with us and made everything work. Price was great for what we needed!

John VNot open for drop-off. Service from U-Haul was atrocious. Long wait times on phone. Employees unable to access or change reservation information. Asked for phone call from U-Haul on return. Still haven't received one. Cheap rental but prob spent 6 hours on phone with hangups and no resolution still
brenda JI was the first customer that day and the agent was training a new worker so the process took quite a bit longer than expected. If the training could have been completed on line or somewhere else or perhaps after office hours, there wouldn’t be any delay for the customer.
Byron WI rented a trailer to haul my trike however I don’t have enough clearance on the sides and didn’t want to risk it, so I took it back the next day and got all my money back . Thank you for that. The person at desk was very nice and easy to deal with. kudos
