There was no one there to explain the contract to me when I picked the truck up. Also, I had to call the person in charge of this pick up site to find out where the key was to the truck. They said it was in the glove box. There is no glove box with this model of truck. Then they told me to get the key out of the dropbox. my wife stood by the passenger door, looking for the key trying to help me. Then she found out she was standing in a fire, ant bed, and got badly bitten by the fire ants. Before I can get on my way the lady said over the phone I had to text a picture of my drivers license to the U-Haul format email that is. Then she insisted on me texting it to her personal cell phone as well. Don’t mind give me a copy of my license, but it would’ve been nice to not been standing in the hot sun on the phone when I had to be somewhere in about an hour. Would’ve been nice to have had a person there to help me. Why all the hoops to jump through and no help. This is about the fourth U-Haul truck. I’ve rented in two months. None of my previous experiences were this bad. when I picked the truck up it was below empty dead dry bone, dry empty barely made it to the gas station when I returned it I left it with a quarter of a tank of gas. When I dropped it off at Bennett’s shed solutions no one was there it was closed. It was Sunday. But on my final bill I was charged $54 for fuel charge and 6 gallons of gas even though I left a quarter tank in it and when I picked it up, it was empty. What is going on??? Was also charged for three days only had it out two days. During usage of the truck, the power steering and the power brakes went out, making extremely hard to stop the truck and to steer the truck. this lasted for about 20 minutes of driving through the city of Albany, Georgia. After I got my destination and got loaded, it mysteriously began working again. No, I would never ever recommend U-Haul or this location to anyone nor will I ever use this Pinehurst location as pick up or drop off ever. I will never pick up another U-Haul if there is no one there in person to assist me. This is a practice that needs to be stopped. Not allowed by U-Haul.

Received my receipt today 2/22/23 and saw that I was charged $326 + 92.00 wrongfully drop off when I was told that I could drop the uhaul off at a nearby location in Warner Robins two minutes from my move in location. I’m very upset and would like a refund for unauthorized transactions.

John AAgent was polite and quick. However, a few days later i noticed a $27. charge on my charge card for insurance was a made at the pick up location. I made and PAID for the rental online 4 days before pick up . I did not select the insurance and was not charged for it. After I left the PU location I was charged for the insurance. I was never asked nor did I swipe my card. The email receipt said "card on file" So I guess once you give your card number they can add charges wentever they want.??
