The location I went to initially did not leave the code for the key so I was sent to another location where the 10” truck was not maintenanced so the lights were all on, the truck was beeping and saying shut off engine. We then had to get something smaller which was a cargo van. It took my partner and I nearly two hours to move the things we needed due to these issues.

I have several problems with my most recent reservation. And tbh, if anyone would have told me this story I wouldn't have believed it. This is wayy too many errors to happen all at once, to the same person. Not to mention the truck was filthy. It was late at night, raining and parked in mud. But let's start from the beginning. FIRST: when I went to pick up my initial reservation I got an error message on the app saying I needed to call uHaul. The lady I spoke to said my reservation was never made. Even though I got confirmation emails & you could see everything that I asked for on the app. So she said I would have to go to another location to get a truck. I had to get an Uber to a SECOND location. When I got there, we could not get the lockbox with the key to open. So I called back & spoke to a different person who said "we can switch you to the 15' truck at no additional cost." But when I got my invoice, I saw I was charged for the 15' and not 10' truck as promised. Also, the invoice stated the gas tank was 9/16 full. That is incorrect. I'm glad I took pictures with timestamps as proof there was well under a half-tank of gas in the truck I took. Maybe the 9/16 on the invoice was referring to the first 10' truck? I don't know. Final error is that my invoice does not reflect a $50 discount. I was told I would be getting that as part of uHaul's Reservation Guarantee. But that $50 was nowhere on my invoice.

Kimberly SYou app and Customer (Not) Service is the worst I have ever worked with. When I was returning the truck, It kept logging me off and when I called I was put on hold for 30 minutes and then came on with a recording- we are having problems now call back later. I tried to log in again and my Rental had completely vanished from the app and website. I then called the local number and I have to give them an excellent rating on their response and their follow up. After spending all day in the summer heat on a move, your commitment to a faulty system was maddening.
Neill TThere was no one (not a technician or service representative) at this location when we arrived. We tried using the U-Haul app, but it did not help. We had to call a few different phone numbers before anyone arrived at the location.

Roosevelt WTruck cabin was filthy & just not well maintained. If I wasn’t in such a crunch on time I most definitely would’ve went to elsewhere to rent a truck. What you can do to improve for the next customer is clean the cabin, replace the plastic covering on the dash & just apply a tad bit of TLC to your investment.
Shuntez GWe were told to call a number listed on a sign taped to the glass window (where I would have expected a person to be). No one answered the phone. Had to get an employee from the back to call the agent just to speak to them.
Jayne PTrucks were parked very close together, location is not well lite and there are no signs directing you were to go. Lock box lock was rusty and hard to open.

KARELIS CRented a cargo van from here when I went to pick it up, it was all muddy and dirty. Very inconvenient as my furniture was getting dirty by touching the cargo bed floor. Would not recommend this place or use it again.

Linda RTruck was dirty, pads were missing and key lock to retrieve the truck key impossible to open. Gas tank was empty and 200 miles into the trip the engine light came on while driving. Horrible experience and if U-Haul wants me to still be a customer they should issue a partial refund for all the anxiety I had to deal with during this rental period!

Linda RI was charged for an extra day despite having photographic proof of when the trailer was dropped off (before the required return time). I was also on their security camera talking with the owner. When I called the front office about the charge, she said the manager would look into it and give me a call back. This was 2 days ago. This apparently is a recurring theme with this location. The whole interaction was shady and underhanded.
Olivia KLocation called today and harassed me saying that the truck was not returned and their cameras did not show me retuning the truck. Which is a lie!! The keys were put in the drop box and I was definitely all in camera view the whole time I completed the return. The store outside lights even kept coming on when I got close the building. On top of that, I chatted with U-Haul after the return to make sure the mobile return went thru properly and they confirmed it did. I have the chat transcript in my email. I rented on Saturday and they waited until Wednesday the following week to call me and say the truck wasn’t there. I provided the lady with the location address and the drop off time. It’s very bizarre and sounds fishy! At first she was claiming that the truck was not there, the key couldn’t be found and their cameras don’t show me dropping off. She then changes her reason for calling to that she just needed to verify the address I left the truck and that’s all she needed. So did the truck and keys magically appear now? I’ll never rent from this location again. Horrible!!!

ROBERT MTo absolutely no fault of their own, this U-Haul contractor is located within a business park where the two sides of single-laned roads are divided by a grass median, which makes it EXTREMELY difficult to navigate the U-Haul truck through. Especially pulling out of the place, I had to do a 5 point turn, nearly hitting a truck, and STILL had to run over the median's curb just to exit the business park. The U-Haul contractor themselves, KSL in this case, absolutely gets a 5 stars out of 5 though, super friendly and helpful with getting and returning my truck. My truck definitely had some underlying mechanical issues though, the gears sounded deathly while shifting through gears, the RPMs were soaring while getting up to speed, the brakes were making awful squealing noises, the passenger door made a terrible noise when opening all the way, the sides of the truck were scraped to heck and back. Just left a lot to be desired on the truck's end.
