Not the location I chose. My reservation was changed to a this location just before my move. My original reservation was in walking distance from my home, the new location was 12 miles away. I passed by 3 Uhauls only way to this one. Over $50 for Lyft, over $25 in additional mileage fees and who know how much in extra gas. Good customer service on Uhaul's part would have been to get a truck to the location where I reserved it. Stop letting customers make reservations where trucks are not available.

The location was somewhat remote with a narrow entrance way and a cramped space. The lady that checked me was very nice and it was A fairly easy Process. A last minute circumstance that would require a late pickup of some appliances came up and she was able to accommodate. Now the problems were I reserved a dolly as we had large items to move as well as said appliances. Upon check in, i'm told there is no dolly to be had. Therefore, we ended up purchasing a dolly that cost me $175. Already, U-haul has cost me a lot of money. Then, after we arrive at my apartment to begin moving, i discover there is NO ramp. How in the world is that possible??? Keep in mind, it was only my girlfriend And I That were doing this. We managed to get the truck loaded. Another thing, i have a small, one bedroom apartment and the 10' truck would not even come close to holding everything. 6 loads were also done using our cars. Then, when it came time to get the appliances, we were able to get the washer and dryer in, but it was impossible to Load the fridge. I ended up having to pay $50 to Have it delivered to my home that was just over a mile away. Needless to say, U-Haul failed me miserably and cost me quite a bit of money and heartache. Won't happen again.

The representative for uhaul was very nice and she went out of her way to help us, that being said it does not make what she or whomever did right. I initially rented a trailer, after picking it up I realized my SUV would not pull it ( they shouldn't have allowed the rental in the first place). I called and spoke with the customer service/reservation line to upgrade to a truck and a trailer to pull my car, he said there were none in the area. I called back to speak with the lady at the pickup location to let her know I needed to return the trailer and after explaining everything, she managed to get a truck and trailer. The problem is she quoted me one price and charged me 200 dollars more than the total amount she told me. She didn't send me a receipt so I called her back the next morning to ask about the additional charges. She said it was a deposit, so I took it as that. When I arrived at my destination and turned the truck and car hauler in I asked about my deposit and the man told me they didn't show a deposit. So once again I called her back explained everything again and she said she would have to "look into it" and call me back. I've called 4 addiadditional times with no response. This is stealing plain and simple. I will never use Uhaul again. I only want to pay what I was quoted, I don't want to be lied to.

Have someone on premises to check in trucks. I had to wait 30 minutes to turn in my truck. My grandson had to go to work and was late because of this poor policy someone not being available to check me in

You changed the location to a location that was a side yard of a house, in an area of baton Rouge I would not go. I was told to drop it off when done. No one checked me in and I got no contract. The person was very nice, but the location was not.

The ratchet straps needed oil. But they didn't have any on hand. Maybe this should be done as a preventative maintenance. Was very hard to ratchet.

First this was my 2nd location. My rental was made for a closer location on 4454 highland road at 8am. I received a confirmation call from Cody and confirmed location size and time. when I got there was told the computers were down for uhaul. as this was a one way rental I needed it at the reserved time to pack and get out of the apartment by 12noon. The gal was clueless how to assist me and left it to me to figure out. I called a location I googled and their computers worked. I was told to call the 800 number to change my reservation. I called the 800 number and they found a location on Florida st. I rushed there and the lady was super nice and set me up. We were about an hour or so behind on our walk out time. We got to our destination and realized the trailer put black silverish dirt on our items and now on our white carpet. Upon dropping off our trailer was charged for blankets we didn't return when I was never told I'd have to pay for unreturned and wasn't on my contract either. Not have I ever paid for unreturned blankets previously. I threw them out and had I known I would have returned them. Very disappointing this time and I've rented several times.

The fuel gage registered 5/8 when I picked it up. I returned it with 3/4 and a fuel charge was added to my bill. That's not right

The lady who was over the uhaul services, I assume, did my payment over the phone because she was not present. I was talking to her on another guys phone who was in a rush because he said he has somewhere to be. There was no proper paperwork and I wasn't notified of how the experience worked. I was not told how much I would be charged as well. Later when I was through with my services I was emailed the next day in which I contacted the lady. After I spoke with her asking about how the uhaul works she hung up in my face. I then contacted corporate in which they explained it to me and I told them I would not use uhaul services again. That was my first and last time.

Unorganized. Sold us the wrong hitch for the car. They told us we had to get a welder to attach the hitch so we took it to a welder. The welder attached it like any other hitch and said that UHAUL just didn't want to do it. Then a couple days before pick up date UHAUL called and said they didn't have our size UHAUL for us and we would have to go to a different location the day before our pick up time. They said they would give us an extra day on our rental return since it was picked up a day earlier, then THEY messed up the paperwork so when we dropped it off it was considered LATE! When we actually were told we had a full extra day. Then when we returned blankets and the moving dolly, no one recorded it in baton rouge UHAUL so I was charge in NY $156 for the equipment. I have never experienced a more ridiculous and unorganized company. I don't know how you run a business.

We needed to deliver the motorcycle trailer on a Sunday so after we disconnected it, I was sitting in my car following the instructions on the app for dropping it off when this great man named James walked up and told us we were all good. No need to do anything more. He wasn't working that day but because he was on site, he took the time to come out and thank us for using U-Haul and save us the trouble of going through the prompts on the app. Great experience. The motorcycle trailer hauled great, by the way. Even behind a 2008 Honda CR-V.

My concern was not with this location but with the whole U-Haul rental process. I requested Highland Road. I was notified 36hrs prior to pickup that they didnt have the truck I requested at this location and couldn't move one there. I was told I would have to pick my vehicle up in a very dangerous area of Baton Rouge Saturday morning on government street. I was also told to use the online feature to pickup the truck at the time requested as no one would be onsite. Upon arrival there wasn't a truck for me. There were vagrants actively smoking drugs from glass pipes at the location and I feared for my safety. I flagged down the police but they told me it was not a good idea for me to be there and asked I leave. I spent over an hour on the phone to 800-U-Haul for them to tell me to again go across Baton Rouge to an even more dangerous area. The people were helpful but no truck was ready. They quickly cleaned it out but it smelled of vomit. I drove 200+ miles with the windows down. This was a terrible experience and will not be using U-Haul again. I have t heard back from a regional manager so I plan to contact the bbb and also take to social media to tell my story. You folks should be ashamed of yourself for providing your customers such terrible service.

Great Customer Service!! This location closed at 5:00pm. We had a blow out on the way and called to tell them we will be running a little late. They waited for us to arrive. Nice and friendly business.

I called weeks in advance left messages and never received a return call. The truck passenger door wont open from the outside, the a/c blows warm air, the front end shakes, the truck had half tank of gas on receipt but I was charged for a full tank. I took pictures as proof. I informed this female at Uhaul. She said okay and I told her I had pictures. She said its wasn't necessary she would make the adjustment but she lied. I replaced the 1/2 tank I also have picture proof. For these people to have a church at that location and claim Jesus and represent Uhaul is and disgrace. But thank God I'll never rent there again. That was the most unprofessional Uhaul I have rented from on my account.

I did not authorize an extra payment of $62.00. Before I left I asked what would happened if i needed the truck longer than 5:00. I was told by the agent just call and let her know. I did not go over 30 miles and I returned the truck with 1/2 tank of gas which was more than the 3/8 when I got the truck. I understand that you had to charge me for another day for being late you charged me $62.56 in addition to the $96.37 that you charged when I entered the contract. I took photos of the mirage and gas level when I got the truck and when I returned. I feel that I'm due a refund?? Thank you
