This location is basically a "side lot" to a convenience store. The store owner, an old man, wasn't able to help me disconnect the trailer and I was lucky enough to ask a passerby to give me a hand. This is unacceptable.

Sandy BU-Haul itself is a disaster and I have been telling everyone I know every chance I get. I was sent twice to locations that did not have the truck I was told was there. The folks at Kals Food were nice enough, but they had been waiting for days for U-Haul to respond to their complaints of defective machinery. I ended up begging them for the truck that had a low tire pressure light on because I had been up at till 1:00 am talking to your customer service until they "located" a truck for me, was at my second promised location, was three hours into my daughter's moving load-up day, was five hours from her apartment check-in time, was already drained from the extremely hot Florida summer heat, had unloaders scheduled for the following morning, and knew a hurricane would be causing heavy downpours after our scheduled unloading. Worse, I heard the exact same thing from an acquaintance who had the same experience the weekend before.
Tom JHad to go out of my way to find the proper size moving van, ended up traveling an extra 20 miles to find what I needed surprise it was nothing closer. Was originally looking for a 10 foot to settle for a 15.
Phillip HMy phone did not have connection to complete the self return and the personnel just told us to park and put the key in the box. I had to call the main U-Haul center to answer all my questions.

john LI rented a trailer Saturday late PM for 24 hours. Since the rental location is closed on Sunday I was charged an additional day. This is a bad way to trick customers in paying an extra day.

STEVEN NWhen I returned the trailer and presented my receipt, the salesperson tried to keep the receipt and said it was okay for me to go. I told him that I wanted to keep my receipt but he could make a copy or take a picture. He took a post it note, wrote down info (?) and said I could go. I regret not asking for his signature stating the equipment was returned in good order. It was in good order.

Walter WJust a suggestion. Some U-Haul locations have the required receiver and 2 inch ball with the 1 inch thread for rent. I think I paid over $10.00, during one of my trailering days to rent it. They would pay for themselves within the first 5 rents, so the rest is a profit. Great folks at Kale Foods U-haul store

Michael PDon't be so rude. Don't force your customers to fill up a tank to 3/8 when the take had less than that to begin with, especially when I only drove the truck for 5 miles. Actually maintain and clean your trucks.

George WThe man at the counter was really nice. First I reserved a Uhaul and then got a call two days before saying they didn't have it, so they sent me to a new location. Went there to pick it up and they told me they didn't have it either so I now had to go another location. I finally got the uhaul and the man I dealt with was very nice. However, I got into the uhaul and the check engine light was on, definitely didn't run well. When my friend and I got to my storage to load everything up we noticed in the back where you load things a piece of the metal was not bolted in so it would always move and there's a huge hole in the floor. My friend ended up tripping over it and fell in the hole and hurt her knee. I have pictures of it if anyone is interested. I returned it and told the man my issues and that it really needs to be checked out because it definitely isn't safe.

James TThe equipment was fine but the service was a nightmare. The store was understaffed and only had one person there to handle making the food, checking out customers, and dealing with the U-haul rentals. Then someone came in and she could only check out customers. We were there for over an hour and the lady had no idea what she was doing. They had us go through several steps to finish our online rental so we could get the trailer, then we had to do it all over again. Now my account has been charged several times. I will never do this again from this location and I am unsure I will ever use U-haul again unless it is a last resort.
Lisa BIt took them 55 minutes to get everything together for the uhual we ordered weeks in advance. It was disorganized and not helpful. We had to walk around everywhere to confirm they had the reserved equipment. It was awful and wasted lots of needed time

Dan CKal was very helpful and courteous. Both the pickup and drop off paperwork was processed promptly and efficiently. There were no surprise charges or changes to my reservation. The lot was easily accessible for picking up and returning the rental trailer. I highly recommend this location for a glitch-free rental experience.

ERNEST WI have used this site twice but no more. I took at least 30 minutes to get it written up and there is a communication problem (speak very limited English). Both time I had to connect the trailer to my truck and do all connections. Plus, I was told Uhaul would honor Veterans with a discount but when I asked about this, was told Uhaul doesn't give any VA discounts.

MARY DCheck engine light was on, needs a front-end alignment, had crack in windshield. The renta vanl needs to be replaced soon.
Jeffrey Hnormally the renting agency actually hook-up the equipment they just told me where it was. the trailer was heavy and i am older so it was difficult fortunately when i did get it hooked up i asked them to check it am they did, it was not hooked up correctly, also the loading gate was very hard to get open all the way. they did loan me a broom to sweep out the trailer it had a lot of debris in it . leaves sticks strapping belts etc.

GREGORY MThis location hours on Google says that it's open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. when I went to return the truck at 10 minutes after 7 at night they were closed the people that you all told me that the location told them that they close at 6 so someone's lying to someone so they can make their money off of late fees places dirty the trucks are clean but the place is dirty that people can't even speak English and they don't come out to look at the truck with you they have nothing to do with the truck they just want their money they don't care

Lindsey LVery nice operator. Equipment off to side of store in dirt and under trees area. The 6x12 trailer we used had the door open in back with dirt and twigs and leaves in it. I did rent it and used a broom to sweep out before I put my stuff in it. Operator reluctantly helped me hook up the trailer to my truck and said I had to hook up the chains because he wasnt supposed to do that for us. The last place I rented a 6x12 trailer hooked it up fully to make sure was done correctly and safely. Other than that the operator was very customer service great and pleasant to do business with.
