William EHave truck at location convenient to renter.Don’t make assumptions about The time of renting. When you ask company to call you back because due to background noise you can’t hear him. Don’t just send a text without talking to renter. Don’t just give keys to renter but spend a moment explaining where flashers are, where climate control is etc.

CHERYL DI have one suggestion – when I pick the truck up this morning. It has 7/16 of a tank of gas. That was a stressor for me all day – was I going to be able to make my trip and back without running out of gas. I didn’t want to refill it Prior to returning it to not overfill it. The tank should be full at the beginning of the rental. That way I can fill it and be done. When I left it today, it had 9/16. In my mind I put more gas into it than I used. Fill the tank , my two cents

david tOur equipment was unsafe. The front of the trailer did not have a safety pin and both the man and woman at the uhaul place insisted it did not need one. While driving in New York, the trailer did come off, like we told them it would, and jammed under my car. Sparks went everywhere, and someone could've wiped us right off the highway had a tractor trailer not seen what was happening and stopped traffic behind us. We were able to unjam is and resecure it enough to bring it to home depot for a make shift pin the rest of our trip. The back lift/handle was broken, which we knew about, but why give that to a customer?

Keenan LVery nice customer service. I’ve rented 10 u-hauls in the last 3 months.. I have rented from another place in Haverhill where the customer service was awful.
Greg SThe vehicle that i requested and paid for was not available and the service rep threw up their hands and offered no alternative until i insisted on getting another vehicle with the same rate. The vehicle offered was inconvenient and not what i needed and made the move very difficult.

david tThe mobile checkout experience is horrible on the app. The location services made the process start over repeatedly, we lost over an hour of time with our movers because we couldn't get the truck. The gentleman at the desk couldn't help us check out until 9 when we needed the truck at 7 though nothing about only mobile check in was mentioned. Made several customer service calls to make it work. After we dropped the truck off with the person on duty, we got a call 2 hours later from uhaul asking why we hadn't returned the vehicle. Very frustrating all around.
Matthew HThe ability to use the UHaul App was a problem due to poor connectivity in the area. Additionally, they would not share the password to THEIR internet. Very very frustrating.

Carrie PI paid to rent a furniture dolly and was told they didn’t have any. Not a problem they told me they would take the dolly off the total. Unfortunately that didn’t happen and I was still charged. Hoping this was an honest mistake.
