Jim Sthe truck was very noisy and the brakes sounded like they needed replacement, The people at Hilltop were great. They were there to help, unlike the other three places we went to, the original dealer should be shut down. the no on equipment is the truck was old but clean and was a chore to drive

stacy hThe door got stuck open and would not close. We had to call for service. Was given the wrong number for traffic to see if we could switch it out when we were 3 hours from home. Were told that it would be 3 hours to wait for service and we're told that we could not switch it out for one that had a door that would close. Was not given any reason, the traffic person was less than helpful, and ended up having to drive the truck with the door open.

RAYMONDS SFor whatever reason I received a text before returning to drop off the trailer to a different location than was on my contract. I called Kelly’s they were very helpful, checked my reservation and said it was fine to return it there. However, when I went to drop it off the self check-in wouldn't work because it had me dropping it off in the other place so I was stuck and unable to continue. I called for customer service and after waiting 15 minutes Maria answered but couldnt help and forwarded me somewhere else. After another long wait time, I was connected to Amica who couldnt have been more helpful. She reset the system and then walked me through the process successfully. She was excellent. To top it off, a gentleman from Kelly’s came to the site just when I was ready to leave. I believe it was the same one I talked to earlier and helped me by checking I could drop the thing off there. He said he came to see if he could help get me checked in (on his own time after hours) but I told him it was all finished by then. All of the people were helpful and knowledgeable but your system is NOT. I got another text today reminding me to drop the trailer off at that other place I never agreed to so I had to call again to be sure I wasn't going to be charged. I was told to ignore the text, but its worrisome to think I could be charged, so I checked again. It would've been fine had someone not switched the return location out of the blue. It took many people and a lot of wasted time to complete the process because some automated text.
Donnalee DI will NEVER rent from your company again!!!!! First of all I needed a truck and tow dolly. Nowhere close to me had a tow dolly so I just rented a truck from a location close to my move. This was on Saturday 05/04/24. I was told the truck had to be back at 9:45. So on Sunday 05/05/24 I called another location again to see if they had a tow dolly. I was told that they would have one back at 2:00 , so I went there around 2:30 and picked it up. I was told that I couldn’t return to the location I rented the truck from. The tow dolly location was a good 25 miles from where I rented truck from. I did what I needed to do and returned tow dolly back earlier than needed. I then returned the truck from that location. Truck rental was a charge for 2 days…. Not one! Then my bank account was hit for just as much as it was for the original rental price due to mileage. I called customer service to see if anything could be done about the charges. I was told it would be submitted to management and I’d get an email in 2/3 days. This is the end of day 2 and nothing yet!!!! My bank account was charged again when I asked not to do so until I got an answer from Uhaul on charges. This in turn has put my account in the negative and has caused entirely much more grief than necessary. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone and I will never use you guys again for anything. There are plenty of companies that value a customer and try to accommodate a customer to even consider using you for anything!!!! Word of mouth can be a good thing or bad. I will spread the worst I can about you guys!!!! Robbers is all I can say!!!!!

Greg MFirst. Our pick up location was changed from 9 miles away to a store 15 miles away. This is relevant in my third point. Secondly, the ramp on the truck literally came off. I had to contact u-haul roadside assistance to fix, which cut into our movers time by 2 hours. Third, the drop off for the truck was changed to 20 miles away from my destination. This wasn't an issue until I was told I went over my allotted mileage by 8 miles and got charged for it.

willie hI was charged per mile, and had booked under the impression I was booking at a location off York st, which is the street I live off. The place I was moving from is less than 3 miles to my new house. When I got the location it was not a street I recognized... I put in the address, and it was nearly 40 minutes from my house. over 20 miles. I was charged per mile... I don't think this is fair, considering I did not choose this location. It was a HUGE inconvenience, and I ended up having to drive way farther than expected, use more gas and waste a bunch of time. I would like to be refunded for the additional 45 miles I had to pay for. I was also over charged ... I was told I would get reimbursed for the additional time that I did not use since I dropped off early, but I was charged more...
Keyanna FI had to clean the back of the truck. It was covered in sand and gravel. I need you $25.00 cleaning fee.
