The employee of this location charged me for more miles than I had driven by inputting the wrong mileage start value. I took photos of the start and end with time stamps. When I called to confront him about this he argued with me for 15 minutes saying I should have showed him the photos when I returned the van as if I would somehow know he would lie . He said he had already processed the transaction and would not reverse it because it was difficult to do. I will be taking this up with my credit card company and filing a report with the better business bureau.James W.

The mileage listed on the contract was incorrect. The amount of gas in the tank was incorrect. The cargo van was dirty. When I turned in the van the agent gave me a receipt for $46.62, which I thought was about right. It showed up on my credit card statement at $62.18. I would like a credit. Contract# 00081907. The van smelled of cigarettes. And was over charged on milage. She didn't check the van when I got there, she just said thanknyou, Ill email your receipt. She charged my card twice!! I want my $34.00 returned.Ashly K.
The gas gauge was broken. It showed over half of a tank when I left. Maybe two miles into the move, the gauge suddenly changed to empty and the alert light came on. Not knowing the actual amount of gas I needed to replace, I put in a generous $20 worth of gas to ensure I replaced what I used, if not more. I will say that I am thankful that the worker called me about the gas not being replaced before charging my card which allowed me to explain the error with the gas gauge. I appreciate the follow up and the fact they didn't just charge my credit card assuming I didn't replace the gas used.Chris W.

Would be nice if customers are asked to clear the inside of any rubbish. As I was about to drive the truck, I had noticed an empty soda can and some candy wrapper in the cabin. That's really not a huge deal, and I think it should be the customer's responsibility to cleanup after themselves. Staff was nice and friendly and service was prompt. It's a small shop and I love that! Thanks guys!Martin S.

We rented a 15' truck for the day to pick up large items that wouldn't fit in our rental car for our condo. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the location is close proximity to us which is awesome and we were happy they we're able to accommodate our last minute request for a refrigerator dolly. If we need to rent again, we'll be back for sure. Thank you!John F.

I reserved a 10' truck well in advance of my moving date. When we arrived to pick it up, the truck was not available and we were given a van instead. This was a HUGE inconvenience to say the least. I called again the next day to explain the difficulty of moving houses using a van and the staff member agreed to switch the van for a truck at my home the next day since I could not drive the vehicles due to needing a car seat and my husband does not get off work until after the shop closes. That employee forgot about our deal, and did not come to switch vehicles. Needless to say, I do not recommend this Uhaul location and was very disappointed with this frustrating experienceMarina S.

The customer service was amazing, they took really good care of me. The truck needed to be serviced and had a red light stating that an "oil change was required" The timing was off as well and tended to rev up a lot while driving. Other than that it was a good experience and I was able to get my move done quickly and inexpensively.sandra N.

I would never recommend U-haul to anyone! Especially both locations on Maui. One location looks like a home that sells guns and at the storage location we found a full syringe laying on the floor! Maria has Poor customer service! No communication! She's Rude, obnoxious, and a wise ass! Cargo van was dirty, smelled like cigarettes and gas tank was not full! Maria should have said we didn't have to fill it up full tank! No communication and I'm not getting reimbursed for filling it full tank. now I'm pissed! I spent $100 for a shitty van and shitty customer service! Maria keeps saying she doesn't work for U-Haul, but I'm pretty sure my $100 went towards your paycheck! DONT EVER GO TO THE UHAUL KIHEI LOCATIONS!Mariah K.

Brand new vehicle smelled horribly, staff was aware. They washed it once, sprayed, but deathly stink still took over the van. They said they were going to bleach it next, but it should never have been rented out in that condition. My clothes stunk of manure, I stunk, my nostrils stunk. Awful.William M.

6/2/15-Received "Confirmation" email to incorrect email 6/3/15-Visited UHUAL dealer in Colorado Springs, CO at 2175 Victors. No action was committed to. 6/3/15-Called Kihei, HI location and informed of wrong email address was used. The lady took information. 6/4/15-Received "U-Haul Equipment Contract" with actual customer contact information (including the incorrect email address) and cover email page. Question: Why was the actual customer not asked for his correct email address at the time of pick-up and/or presentation of credit card xxxxxx####????GERY G.

The man that rented me the truck was not very clear in giving directions about dropping it off and where to put the key. When I asked for clarity he was very short with me. I did not feel very good about my experience when I walked out the door with the truck. I return the truck when office was closed and put the key where he requested. The next morning I woke up to a phone call asking me to come back, pick up the truck, take it to the gas station and fill it up. This was a big inconvenience for me. I suggest that the workers informs future customers about filling up the tank before they return the automobile.MELINDA B.
