My experience picking up my rental was extremely frustrating and resulted in significant delays. My original reservation was changed, the truck size was unavailable, and I was sent to another location. When I arrived, the rental could not be processed due to an account issue that had already been resolved with customer service. I spent over two hours at the location before finally receiving the truck. During this time, movers I had scheduled were waiting and I incurred additional charges as a result of the delay. The employee at the location appeared unfamiliar with the process and had to FaceTime a supervisor for assistance. At one point I was asked to complete the rental process myself using the store’s iPad. I have already submitted a formal dispute with supporting documentation, including the invoice for the movers I had to pay while waiting. My case reference number is 5696964. I hope U-Haul will work with me to reimburse these costs and address the service failures that caused this situation
