Technology turn this experience into a very difficult rental. A simple transaction in renting a U-Haul with a credit card id networks and iPads that don’t function properly and will not give the renter the vehicle or trailer when needed. The experience was very bad as far as getting the equipment I will never rent from U-Haul again.

My experience picking up my rental was extremely frustrating and resulted in significant delays. My original reservation was changed, the truck size was unavailable, and I was sent to another location. When I arrived, the rental could not be processed due to an account issue that had already been resolved with customer service. I spent over two hours at the location before finally receiving the truck. During this time, movers I had scheduled were waiting and I incurred additional charges as a result of the delay. The employee at the location appeared unfamiliar with the process and had to FaceTime a supervisor for assistance. At one point I was asked to complete the rental process myself using the store’s iPad. I have already submitted a formal dispute with supporting documentation, including the invoice for the movers I had to pay while waiting. My case reference number is 5696964. I hope U-Haul will work with me to reimburse these costs and address the service failures that caused this situation
