Candace at Kingsgate Storage was amazing! We will send anyone that we know to her for a rental. We did have a problem with the car hauler that was rented and did not fit our truck, as originally reserved. Somehow the description on the truck was different and no one noticed. We did not end up using the hauler as it wasn't safe but were still charged the $59.56. We picked it up before closing and dropped it off first thing in the morning. No use by us. U-haul is refusing to refund the money as it was our fault that somehow the description got changed in their system. Again, Candace at Kingsgate was absolutely amazing!

Carolyn HI was told when I went to the U-Haul to just bring it back with a full tank because I was receiving it with a full tank and when I needed to keep it for an extra day I tried to call twice and nobody answered the phone so I replied to the text message reservation that I was keeping it another day and I had no phone calls returned to me but my contact person got a message that I never returned my rental and they were concerned. That was embarrassing so then when I did return it straight from the gas station and I pumped the gas until the pump stopped and it was full the person literally said that it was just under just under the full mark just a little line under which it wasn't it was full and the gas station was less than 2 miles away but I was charged $8.55 for gas after filling it up which cost me $7.50, considering I put a whole walking 26 miles on it. How many other people does this happen to every time they return? $8 is not a lot of money but just the fact that I was charged for it and there was absolutely no compromise from the attendant after also telling me that she returns every single missed call she never goes without calling somebody back but she proceeded to say specifically she has no missed calls for me as if she's calling me a liar twice now yet I even called again today just to let her know my brother was on his way with it and I would be there right after him because I went into the gas station to get a cup of coffee and told my brother to head to the U-Haul so I called twice and it rang and rang no answer on my third call I left a voicemail but never received a phone call back so who's the liar. It's all about how you treated and again it's not about the money but charging me for gas when I just filled it up and literally paying no regard to the fact that I said I just filled it so how am I supposed to not get charged if I put the pump in until it stops she said oh well maybe if you would have went to a different gas station it would have done it right that's BS I'm so mad I'm going to file a complaint with the better Business bureau probably again it's not about the money although I want my money back it's how I was treated I don't like being called a liar when I'm not lying

Dan BKeep your inventory current with the website and take time to present the vehicle to the customer. We had a terrible experience. First they didn’t have the truck at the closest location which we picked and had to drive extra 5 miles to a different location. They promised a credit for that which never had, then wrong size truck was rented out with key that did work once we got home. Turned out they gave a smaller truck while we asked and rented the longest one. Delays and more trips to move. Just terrible all around

Collin MThey are a dealer. Main U-Haul dropped off a trailer stating it was inspected. After I rented it, found out the wiring was eroding and disintegrated upon touch and a spring was broken in the axel which would have popped the tire. I called and they sent out another trailer and to guys to unload and load for me. Was a very good experience after the fact.
Crystal SWOW!!! This place is spotless clean. Candace is an amazing customer service representative. She is very thorough and explains all your options in detail and whole check-in/check-out process especially if you need to use the kiosk. I'll definitely rent from here again if the situation arises.
Gary MThe interior was fine. The exterior was covered with dust and tons of bugs on the windshield. I wanted to go to a car wash to rinse it off before I put anything in the truck. The directions in the lobby (it was closed) were non-existent and using the app is an adventure in terror. I think I had to put my phone number in about 8 times including three times in a row. It was always entered correctly, but the app never knew what to do after it was verified. Not good at all -- especially in 105 degree weather.

Gregory II picked the truck when they were closed and the previous renter may have also may have dropped it off when Uhaul was closed hence the unnoticed unswept truck box.
Kenneth TI wish my home looked as nice as this facility's office. The truck we rented looked brand new. And the employees were very friendly and did not rush us and in fact let us know a little bit about the area we moved to. I will highly recommend this facility.

Charles N25$ cleaning fee for a clean return. Used to be a U-Haul employee for a long time and in no way did it need more than a wet rag and 30 seconds (required during receiving anyways). Then no response to my email. This won’t be the only reviews we leave. Honestly as a single dad with not much 25$ hurts.

Liza MI was charge extra for fuel. I received the truck with fuel level a little over 1/2 half tank. After I used the truck I added fuel took keep it at the same level. and I was still charged as in if I didn't fuel it up. I am disappointed and I will most likely not recommend Uhaul to anyone.

Nate GI was charged an extra day plus a service fee. So $40 extra. I called and explained told them I was 20 min away. They told that’s fine and that there was a dropbox for keys. I guess they just meant it was fine for them. So I was charged double on van that wasn’t used for double. THANKS UHAUL

MELINA EThe trailer worked for what I needed. I was a little frustrated with the fact that I needed it for only about 5 to 6 hours. Scheduled it for 8 to make sure of any unseen problems. Got moved to a location that required me to pick it up early. They "checked" me in 15 minutes ahead of when my "reservation" was and then told me if I was not back right on time I would be charged an extra day. I was late, they did initially charge for the extra day, then called and told me they were going to do just the one. I appreciated the customer service in the end at least even if it was not so much up front.

Aaron GThere was a sticker in the Uhaul that said you could go through Mister Car wash for free or possibly be fined $25 if the Uhaul was dirty. I only had the Uhaul for a couple hours and it wasn’t dirty but I got hit with a sprinkler right before returning it so I decided to take it to the car wash since it was free so I wouldn’t get fined. After waiting in line and pulling up I was told the membership was expired. There is no way to get out of the line once you are in it so I had to pay for a car wash. It shouldn’t say you can get a free wash and then you can’t.
