Had a 9am pickup, showed up and the location was closed. Called the number on the door, the man said he was at another property & running behind. He showed up 30 minutes later, didn't even apologize for being lateâ€¦poor professionalism in my opinion. Didn't have all of equipment we had ordered for our move, either.Gerida K.

Getting the U-Haul was an absolute NIGHTMARE!! It took almost an hour before we finally got the keys. I would never recommend getting it with the phone check in option. We tried calling to get help and no one would ever answer. We were finally about to chat with someone but that process still took 30 min before we got the keys.Coby C.

Had an appt at 1. Called when I got there because no one answered door. Guy said he was going to lunch be back after 2. I said I had it at 1. He transferred to online pick up. After 30 minutes I was able to get key to truck. Then there was no appliance dolly that I had pre ordered. I was late picking for my appointment and had no dolly to pick up appliances. Them I returned gas just above 1/2 tank which was where it was and he charged me $50 extra said it was a 1/10th below. I will never use u haul and I will rate this experience and this location on u haul Facebook and will leave a review. I mean what's point of setting appointment and pre paying for equipment you can't get???todd R.

Small parking lot, very difficult to park and drop trailer. No one called back from sign for after hours assistance. Not open weekends.Gerald M.
We had reserved a 10' truck and when we arrived there was a 10' truck there but it was parked so close to the building we would have had to climbed through the passenger side to get in IF we could have got the truck. Thing is, the code we received was correct but the was NO key for said 10' truck in the lockbox. The lockbox was in a flooded area and we called UHaul and they gave us a 15' truck in place of the 10' truck. Not what we reserved as we didn't want the bigger one. Spent 20 minutes on the phone with a nice lady, but this is the 3rd time we have had issues with renting from UHaul. This location was littered with dog poo and didn't have the keys which made us late for picking up what we needed to have the uhaul to begin with. Overall, a bad deal and may be the last time we use Uhaul. Going to wonder about that $50 guarantee that they stated for having the right truck when I reserved the 10'. Does UHaul stand by their guarantee???PAUL G.
From the first Uhaul store that did not have the reserved trailer, I was sent 17 miles one way to get a trailer. I understood the clerk called, as he was on the phone. I got to the Anna location at 10(the new reservation time and No. 25067153)and it was locked with no one in attendance. I called the number on the door and the gentleman said no one told him, I was coming. I left the location at 11:36. This is not a dealer problem, but a system issue with corp management.Charles F.

The business is not open to the public as the hours indicate. I came in at 11am to drop my truck in person before my 24 hours, but no one was there. I called in and the employee said to drop my key in the box. I was then charged for a second day because whoever finally got around to closing my rental did so at 1pm. Double charge!! Very poor experience. I left a message when I saw the charge. No return call or credit reimbursement. Still waiting.Sharif D.

We were scheduled for 7 am pick up. My pick up location was changed 3 times and drop off location changed as well. No one showed up until 8 am to open store with at least 4 other customers waiting. We realized our truck was going to be too small for use, and although no other trucks were available at this location, no effort or offer was made to find a larger one elsewhere. The manager was called to come in since no one showed up(after several phone calls to other locations and to corporate) and never once apologized for no one being there. Never had a disappointing experience with Uhaul until nowJulie G.

No notification regarding Covid 19 on the doors or inside the office They had a 17 year old trying to do the paperwork and tried to hook up the trailer. I was so frustrated dealing with him, I unhooked the unit and drove off. If this had been someone who did not know better they would have drove off with the chains and wires dragging on the ground . THIS PLACE IS A LIABILITY TO UHAUL THEY NEED TO DO A MAJOR CLEANING UP OF THEIR SERVICE AND TRAINING. A 17 YEAR OLD, HE ADMITTED IT, THATS WHY I KNOW, SHOLD NEVER BE IN THAT POSITION BY HIMSELF.Mike W.

Huge potholes in the parking lot. I had to take pictures of the truck and stepped into a huge pothole next to the truck and fell. Cut my hand scraped my leg and broke the glass of my phone when I fell on the gravel.Dorothy W.

I made a reservation from 9 am to 9 am. My contract had that time listed but because their online 24/7 uhaul system was down I was stuck at that location waiting for some online help for 50 minutes. I did not leave until right before 10 am due to the technicality problem uhaul was having. And just because I had forgotten about gas. I went to the nearest gas station to pump gas and shortly returned the rental truck 27 minutes after 9 am. And due to me being "LATE" I was charged an additional $86 dollars!!!. When technically i had reserved the van for 24 hours. I was not at my full 24 hours from the pickup time. If anybody reads this stay AWAY FROM UHAUL go for budget truck rental or penske truck rental. This is the last time I deal with uhaul due to the complexity of their reservation process and customer service's ability to help me as needed to resolve any problem!.Cristian R.

I paid $10 for moving blankets & didn't get any at all. I made 3 reservations because every single one I made was canceled without my knowledge. It is seriously the worst experience I've ever had. Then this afternoon uhaul called to ask why I didn't pick up my reservation...ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? No one could find it THAT'S WHY.Robert M.

My u boxes were at another location, not given to me prior to pick up. My uboxes were not loaded until 1.5 hours after original scheduled pick up time. I had to pay my movers for an extra hour because they had to wait on me.Rebecca B.

The rental agreement was changed to ride share aggrement without any notice only an email sent 30 min after phone arrangements. There was no dolly in truck when I picked Up the truck.. lots of wasted time on hold trying to resolve issue. When I went back the next day to pick up dolly per instructions owner waisted time hassling me about contract change when I expressed I needed the $10 dolly versus the $7 dolly. When I returned truck again ride share app had to be used which was a hassle as phone service was poor (my pickup and drop off times were 4pm on a weekday). There was no where to park the truck and another patron was trying to park his semi truck at the same location he tried several times to contact the owner of the storage facility and was unable to contact him in the end the Uhaul had to park behind the gate in a non degsinated areaHelen M.
