they can conduct regular business hours. I stopped in on Wednesday afternoon at noonish and they were closed for the day. They were only open for 2 hours from 9 to 11 am. terrible setup.

The right rear view mirror was broken so it would not stay in one place. Someone had chef toothpicks down into the rearview mirror stand so it would stay in one place but it did not work.

Don’t tell people how much gas is in the truck, then put down another higher amount. While I should have checked the difference between what I was told, what the gauge said (those two matched) vs. what was put on paper, I don’t appreciate the extremely high amount of gas I suddenly had to pay for. Would have given an above average rating otherwise.

When offering such things as 1 month free storage, the offer should be more specific to the location where the equipment is dropped. The free month only applied after paying for the first month.

Spoke with management ahead of time about size of truck desired and date. When arrived to pick up the truck we found out that there was no truck available that size. It seems that U Haul had pulled that size truck to another location for use. We ended up with a larger size truck to use than what was needed. The larger size was provided at no extra charge.

If you're advertising $19.95 4 hour rentals, the customer shouldn't pay $192.62. Rural area, next city is an hour away, change your once day mileage to something more substantial.

The man I had to deal with was rude and not very helpful. I had to repeat everything because his desk was too far away from the counter. If I ever need a U-Haul in Chiefland Fl. I will go to the next town down the road.

Kips was not the pickup location I picked when I done the online reservation. I actually picked a different location to me but got a call a day before and said they didnt have a truck. I had to drive additional 30 miles out of my way for the truck. I was charged for 40 miles overage when I returned the truck on a one way trip to a different location.

Upon return of the UHaul, Kip checked the UHaul and we went back into the office, While he was checking the truck in the phone rang, The receptionist took the call and transferred the call to Kip with a customer who wanted to extend her rental. I waited for quite a few minutes while Kip explained to the customer about extending her contract while I stood their waiting. Twice, I asked the receptionist why my transaction was not completed before transferring the call to Kip. She told me that "they were busy and that is the way they do things." After the second time of waiting, I asked if there is any other reason why I am waiting and Kip said I could leave while he was still on the phone. I stood there for all those minutes for no reason and they wasted me time when I could have left minutes ago. This office definitely has poor customer service. They should have put the customer on hold for a minute and checked me out, before transferring the call to Kip.

My experience with kips was excellent but prior to going to Kips I went to the Trenton florida uhaul store and they quoted me a price that was a double prices... my feeling on this is that the company should keep close tabs on those representing uhaul and if they are not offering the proper rates they should not be allowed to rent uhaul equipment because it is bad for uhauls reputation.... again Kips was great but the guy in Trenton florida should be shut down....

My truck was supposed to be in another location in Fanning Springs but this fellow had it about 10 miles further away. He was not a morning person either.
