There were roaches in the truck!

My reservation was at 3pm for a truck and appliance dolly. I called and said I was running a little behind I got there by 330. When I arrived the manager of the office wasn't there. I had to wait for him to return(3:50pm) before I could get the truck only to be told he didn't have an appliance dolly. When we received the truck I wasn't instructed to check the truck for damage or anything. I've rented from other U-haul locations so I knew to do that. My fiance checked the tires to make sure they were good but one of the rear tires only had 40psi in it when it should've had 80psi. The manager said the tire was okay but we insisted that it wasn't. He tried to air it up but his air hose had 2 holes in it. We had to drive the U-haul off the lot with low air in the tire. Overall this was the WORST experience I've ever had with any U-haul rental. I definitely will not ever return to this location. The only reason I went to this location was because the size truck I needed wasn't available at the location I normally rent from.

I rented the truck for 2 weeks and spent $970 just to find out at the unloading that the truck leaks and it ruined our living room furniture, beds, and TVs that we stowed between the mattresses to keep them safe, also soaked several boxes of clothing and personal items. Judging from past experiences with insurance companies I’m sure I’ll most likely get stuck with the bill too. Hopefully they’ll do the right thing and take care of this problem and do it quickly.

Close that dealership.Gives U Haul a bad imagine.No trailer hitches for sale.The appearance was very poor. Computer didn't work, It appears he was more interested in selling wood and storage than in your business.

I was very displeased about the situation entirely. Arrived at initial location and the truck wasn't there. That took an hour. Then had to drive to 2nd location more than another hour wasted. This was a day trip from Columbia sc to Jacksonville to get last of furniture. That's 8 hours of driving. Then when I took the truck back I got charged for a few extra miles. This was the last time I pick uhaul exclusively.

You have the worst computer system ever and waste people time when you have them check in online to make a reservation and then have to do it all over again at the pick up location

I feel bad giving this review but since you asked, I was aware of this location because of its proximity to my home but chose a different location that was clean, modern and inviting. I was re-directed back to thIs location because of the availability of the 26 foot truck I had reserved. A client needed an extension on his truck which bumped me out of my time frame for pick up and location. The truck was located in some sort of woodsy lot that also sold fire wood. The truck had pine needles ill over it and in the wiper blades. It was also missing a panel for the gas saving aerodynamic faring. The gentleman that assisted me was very nice but the office was very unkept and wold probably cause female clients to be concerned if alone purchasing boxes or other items. The truck was awesome though. Good job U-Haul.

Was the third location had to go to pick up equipment. Plus the equipment was not in working order had to wait an hour to get it fixed.

Everything was good for the most part. Truck had a pretty major steering wheel/tire vibration at 50-60mph and pulled to the right. Other than needing a wheel balance and an alignment it was an overall good experience.

I had a rate of 99$ locked in picked it up and he charged me 138$ thought maybe fees after talking to corporate that was not true he plain and simple over charged me unsat. The contractors establishment was absolutely disgusting unorganized and not a pleasurable experience. Random people who lived on property walking around shirtless junk vehicles scattered around. I can ensure you i will be asking for a full refund. On top of that the drop off location was closed called a local store and was redirected to a uhaul call center the woman i talked to was extremely rude and borderline disrespectful she had an attitude when i explained the situation and told me they have after hours drop off so when i got there not one place to park the car trailer called back explained to the next service rep and he didn’t listen to a word i said and said he was going to get his manager and just transferred me to a Jacksonville Florida hub after i explained i needed to drop off in Pensacola luckily the man i spoke with in Jacksonville was very nice apologized for the troubles and transferred me to the Mobile Alabama hub the woman i talked to there was very nice and a great help. But this experience has me wanting to use another company from now on and when i move to Jacksonville in July overall terrible experience.
