SHAUN KWhen I showed up for my pickup, I found out that the location was closed for Easter. I called customer support, and was told that I needed to use the mobile app to perform the checkout and to retrieve the keys. It would've been helpful if this had been communicated ahead of time so I could've had the app downloaded and ready to go, or at least not experience panic that I'd need to find a replacement truck rental. Using the mobile app in this location's lot was quite frustrating because cell phone data reception is not great in the lot, and it took forever to upload the photos needed for checking in and out. I spent 30-40 minutes waiting for photos to upload to report on the condition of the vehicle and also the fuel gauge. Overall, the vehicle was in good condition and I was able to get what I needed to do done, and the location was convenient. But it would've been great if the Easter closure would've been communicated ahead of time and if maybe some WiFi can be provided to help with the mobile app.

Kenneth ROur reservation stated an online check in process since the location doesn’t open until 10 am, but that’s not true . They open at 9 am. The staff is the friendliest! I’ve rented from here before and will always choose this low key friendly staff over the 85th street U-Haul location.

Ting LI'd love for you to make the process of renting equipment easier. Model it off of the Enterprise Rental Car app. I should be able to set up an account and easily book it with all of my info already stored. When I go into the office to rent a truck it's like you don't know me and I have to provide all of my information all over again.

David MGas wasn’t full when I received it and I didn’t notice until I pulled out of the facility. I knew I’d get charged if I filled it to the level I received it so I returned it with a full tank. I spent $15 on gas to drive 16 miles. That makes no sense

Prasanna SThis location was understaffed and the U-Haul rental customers including myself were left waiting 20-30 minutes past our reservation times for the one person working to go unlock and work on reservations for storage units. When I finally was rented my truck on the 4 hour rate, it was 11:30 am and they still wanted me to return it by 3 pm since they had another customer renting it at 4 pm. They finally said that I would get it for the full four hours but I had to be back be 3:30 pm sharp since they didn't want to keep the other customer waiting. They called me at 3:15 pm while I was trying to add gas to the vehicle, to remind me that they had another customer that needed the vehicle at 4 pm. I returned the vehicle full of gas at 3:25 pm. I think if you have customers who patiently wait for 30 minutes and don't complain, you shouldn't minimize their rental experience by reminding them of another customer that they don't want to keep waiting.
Michael SPoor customer service. I returned rental with gas and still got charge. Car only had 1/4 gas tank and returned with 1/4 gas tank. Spoke with location manager and was told to contact U-husk for refund. My refund was not given. Poor communication between team agents.

Gave up after 30 minutes of attempts and contacted U-Haul customer service and they said I was all good the system already has it checked in.... Fix your website...

Robert PThe truck was not returned to a full tank and there was a tire pressure warning on the dash. My reservation was changed twice to two different locations. I had to call support to ensure that I wouldn’t be charged for someone else’s lack of gas in the vehicle. By far the worst moving experience I’ve had.
Sylvia JReserved at a location because I was able to pick up at 8:00 am which was why we reserved at that location. Uhaul moved my reservation to a different location that I couldn't pick up until 10:00 and when I called the rep. Was very rude. Lady at pick up location was very nice though. We were not informed at pick up and did not notice until we were well on our way that the passenger side mirror had been glued and we could not move it to properly set our mirrors which is very hazardous and could have caused an accident as it made it difficult when trying to merge on the interstate.
