During the week leading up to picking up the truck Uhaul texted me several times trying to get me to bring a trailer accross the state because they needed to move some to the location I was going. When I didn't answer they started texting me asking if I would take a much larger truck than I need instead because they needed those too. The night before I was due to pick up the truck I got a call letting me know I had to go to a location 15 minutes further away than where I ordered it because they didn't have any the truck I needed at the location I ordered from. The guy on the phone then argued with me that I only ordered 1 furniture dolley when I ordered 2 until I made him double check the system. When I noticed he didn't mention the mattress bag that I ordered I asked him if it would be in the truck. He then argued with me that I didn't order one. When I let him know I checked my bank account and could see that I already paid for it he let me know that he just didn't have any and that I would need to drive across town to the location I orginally ordered from the get the bag. When I picked up the truck the guy saw me threw the ring camera and continued to argue with me that I ordered a different type of dolly. When I got to the location that had the mattress bag I noticed that they had over 10 of the truck I ordered sitting in the lot. When I parked the truck to go inside a woman yelled to me that I wasn't aloud to drop the truck off where I was parking. I explained that I was sent there to get something I ordered and asked why I had to drive all over town if they had so many of the trucks on the lot I ordered from. The lady was immediately sarcastic and condescending. Saying "yeah just because they're here doesn't mean they're available" then just walked off inside the store. When I walked in the store and got in line to pick up the bag the woman yelled to another employee infront of a store full of people "that guy ordered a mattress bag will you go grab it so he will get out of here". Then when I loaded the truck and got on a highway with no service stops or exits for 20 mile I realized that they gave me the truck with less than a 1/4 tank of gas. I barely made it to the gas station and had to pay highway gas station prices. I filled the tank because it was a cross state trip. It cost an additional 90 dollars to fill the tank. When I dropped the truck off it was just shy of 3/4 full and I was offered no refund for the gas I left in it. Which is something I found odd because in the past when I've used uhaul they've said they charge nearly 5 dollars a gallon if you don't refill the truck. All around this was terrible customer service and I would not recommend either of these locations to anyone.
