The back of the truck was not clean, as I was expected to (and did) return it. I was charged for an extra day, when I only had the truck for 8.5 hours on the same day. Neither Uhaul nor Klein Mini Storage has bothered to reply to my email communication attempts, regarding the extra day charge.

Joseph FWhen I went to pick up the truck it had a flat tire. I picked it up after hours but was expecting to at least be inspected earlier that day. I had to deal with getting the tire fixed before I even left the facility with the truck. That whole process took an hour and half. I was tempted to cancel the reservation but already had plans to move what needed to be moved.
Byron KI spoke with the Uhaul rep on Monday or Tuesday to schedule a pick and I was told that I'd be charged a fee of $19.99 for the rental and $0.89 per mile. When I was picking up the truck, the representative didn't mention these two charges and no other charge during the rental. When I received my final bill, I was surprised to find a $15 charge towards the insurance. I was never asked for and didn't consent to this charge and I'm disappointed with the unscrupulous behavior at the rental center.
SHAJIUDDIN MWE HAVE A VIDEO TO PROVE IT DID NOT HAVE A FULL TANK OF GAS WHEN WE PICKED UP THE TRUCK. We rented a U-Haul truck. We went 7 miles. That's it. We did not stop for gas as we usually would do, & were honest about it. Explained we just went SEVEN MILES. They charged us for TWO gallons of gas for a total of $8.50. So you're telling us that the 10' truck only gets 3-1/2 miles per gallon? I am also contacting U-Haul headquarters & will include the pictures & video. REFUND OUR MONEY.

BRANDON YThe truck has pedal is rigged with a rusty metal piece and it sliced my foot open and I needed stitches. I showed pictures to multiple mechanics and they all said they don’t know what the part is. It’s definitely a DYI of some kind. The facility just said they would notify uhaul and uhaul just told me to file a claim. Neither reached out further.

JERSON CEntire front end and mirrors were splattered with dead bugs. Check engine light was on. Engine would cut out temporarily when coming to a stop. Appears truck was rear ended and repaired recently might account for the engine issues????

I actually had a better experience at this location than at the big Uhaul store on Spring Cypress and 45. I’ll be renting from this location whenever I can from now on.

Kandace VYou should provide notice that if the exact time is missed for pickup you will relocate a reservation, BEFORE you actually relocate. We missed our time by 30 minutes and we’re about 2 minutes away when A notice was sent to call. Your scheduling placed us 30 minutes from home and luckily the business was still open. Normally the office closes at 12n, so our entire plan would have been derailed. I felt as if UHAUL prioritized a new potential rental, I.e. more money over my existing 24h reservation. How do you re-rent a vehicle that is already rented for a full 24 hours? And then offer no warning or discount for additional miles from original pick up location? We drove by the original location on the way home and noticed the truck we rented was still there, so truthfully we were inconvenienced and paid additional mileage without warning for no legitimate reason. The uhaul place we picked up from was extremely helpful and clean, but UHAUL reservations itself was a terrible experience and cost me more in mileage. I would recommend the UHAUL operator place of business, but I can no longer recommend UHAUL truck rental.
