MICHAEL SThe U-Haul place was a dump. The owner was away and had some mechanic from next door check us in, and then say that he was mad that he had to work in a Saturday. And that after us, he was going to lock the door and leave. He didn’t assign us the trailer near the front door, but picked one from the back lot. We didn’t think to inspect the inside and he didn’t offer. When we got to our storage facility, we opened the trailer to find it FILLED with dirt and sticks. We couldn’t return it (because he said he was leaving), and it was a Saturday, and the other stores were closed. WE had all of the pieces needed to connect the lights. And a better hitch. We put the chairs in the trailer that I was moving, and when I returned to Fort Lauderdale, the casters of these EXPENSIVE executive chairs had casters filled with dirt and grit. We also asked him about some sort of crank to help us lift the trailer when we were finished and he said none was needed. Not was very light. We got to the destination to return the trailer and we could not (with two of us) lift the trailer from the hitch. It was a sketchy neighborhood and we found someone 4 blocks away who came over to take a look. Confirmed that we should have had some sort of crank or pump or attachment which would help lift the trailer. We hired him for $25 to rent one from a friend and unhook the trailer. This entire process was a nightmare from beginning to end!!!

ROBERT TReturn the vehicle within six hours of renting it. There was no one on site to return the vehicle to I drop the keys off in the dropbox. It did not show my vehicle returned until Two days after return date. I had to make several calls and spend most of my day concerned about this vehicle.

ADAM GThe Uhaul ap had scheduled my 9am pickup to a location that didn't open until 10am. The owner was very nice and accommodating and helped me get on the road asap before they opened up. Very professional and courteous as it was not their fault. Corporate Uhaul should fix this automated problem as they said it happens a lot with customers. Thank you to Klett Automotive for the great service!

Dave MIt's all well and good in spite of the Stars I gave it. The cab reeked of marijuana of which I am quite allergic. My sinuses are still on a roar from it. However the truck did the job. It was ready on time. The online experience worked fairly well. But I don't understand though is why I was charged almost $12 for a truck that was driven only three miles. This is an unfair overcharge. I am requesting that you looking to getting a refund to my credit card for this unfair charge.

Robin OWhen I called the 1800 number to make the reservation I specifically requested a pickup truck WITH a ball hitch. They told me they had 2 locations in town and both would be able to accommodate the request. I chose the closest location and was told they "weren't supplied with hitches" so I had to drive 20 mins to the other location to get a hitch. The Klett auto location is disgusting. This property is run down, dingy, dimly-lit, and seems to be operated by what look like meth heads. Incredibly poor display for Uhal.
Joshua KI ordered a set of moving blankets and a dolly. Neither were available. It seems I was still charged for them, but cannot prove it since I cannot open the receipt I was emailed. Very frustrating.

MICHAEL KWhen I went to pick up the truck, they had no paper work or nothing. It was kind of a big issue, I had to drop off medical supplies. But the girl was nice and got it all together. I only had the truck for 1 hour and 16 miles. Every thing worked out good. Thanks

Leonard LMy experience before I picked up was horrible. I made a reservation online and did not get the confirmation call that I was told would happen. I called myself, was on hold for 20 minutes, I inquired about my reservation and was then transferred to a scheduler, and was on hold for another 15 min. I was then told my reservation was transferred to another location and the time was changed. I would’ve never know had I not called. Plus the rep told me how difficult her job was, and how UHaul always has these issues, which did not solve my problem. Improvement is needed.

Edith SU-Haul drop off service is in need of major overhaul. I did not specify a drop off location to allow for flexibility. After trying 4 locations only to be told they only accept scheduled returns, I received an email instructing me to drop off at this location. It was 50 minutes from my residence, there was no key drop slot, nowhere to park, no one to answer a phone. After spending 1100 dollars and four days moving, I was very disappointed with my U-haul experience overall.
Jeffery SThe truck was not filled to 1/2 a tank when picked up. The clerk had trouble accessing the reservations because of slow internet service.
Mike GI returned the car 3 days before my due date and they still charged me for the whole mileage and the days and I called them and they told me that there was gonna reverse me for my money and now it's like almost a month later and I haven't received my money yet
