I'm quite disappointed in the U Haul pick up and drop off procedure! South Haven would have been ideal for pick up and saved a very modest amount of money on mileage. I would also point out that all U Haul equipment sat at the South Haven location for more than several days--no pick ups at all!!!!Justin S.

We tried doing before hours pick up. The location did not have internet access which made it difficult to load the app and then once we got the app to load it wouldn't upload our photo for us to move onto the next steps. We waited over two hours for them to finally open so we could pick up our truck. Our reservation was originally for a different location closer to town and I paid ahead. I feel if I paid ahead and made a reservation you should have a truck where I originally wanted one! Instead I lost two hours of moving time waiting around trying to get an app to work.Brandon M.

Computer related issues caused a rather long delay in generating the rental contract. The salesperson stated this has happened before. Recommend finding out if there is a system issue and fixing or upgrading to eliminate the problem.JOHN A.

Brand new trailer, he checked it out for us very carefully after we hooked it up, there was a wiring problem with one of the lights and he got right on it and fixed immediately, very satisfied.tim T.

The drop off was a bit of a fiasco. I was originally suppose to drop off the trailer at Village Market in Decatur, but when I attempted to drop off the trailer I was told that this facility wasn't setup the accept returned trailers. I called the 800 number and I was told to drop it off at Neil's Do-It Center in Paw Paw, but unfortunately I was told the same thing. I called the 800 number again, and after the third try I dropped it off at Kruzienga Archery. Just a bit of a run around for a simple drop offTodd B.

I have rented many trailers and this was the worst. It was old, very dinged up, and in need of repair. Rear door locking bracket came loose and we almost lost our load.FRANK H.
One of the safety chains on the trailer I rented was broken; this should be repaired before it is rented again. Otherwise, the experience was good.Richard R.

This was a 24 hour drop off location that we went to after hours in the dark. It was very hard to find the driveway as there was no lighting to indicate a driveway so we drove past it and had to turn around. There were only a few trailers there and no trucks. I don't think this location is used to having business after hours, in the dark. Again this is my first experience with renting from U-Haul, so I have nothing to compare to other than the location we rented from which was a much larger location, fully stocked with multiple trucks, trailers and miscellaneous equipment. It is possible that the remote location of this drop off location is average for what to expect from this size and location. With that in mind I would say it is average.Julie F.

Tire pressures were low. Rental location does does not sell balls, receivers or any other hitch/trailer pieces. If you just need a trailer it's ok.Dave B.

I made my reservation for pick up in romeo and drop of in kalamazoo. Some how it got mixed up for pick up in paw paw drop off in kalamazoo. After 5 transfers to no one that could change my reservation I finally got assistance and had the pick up and drop off location changed. Then when I went to go pick up the vehicle the milage and price that were quoted to me after the change was wrong, the drop off location was still wrong, and the price was higher. I am not interested in working with this company again, I was very disappointed in this experience especially since Uhaul is such a big name.STEPHANIE H.
The only thing I would say is the mileage situation. I lived over 35 minutes from where I picked up n the mileage they gave me was so close with in a mile or so. It scared me if I would have been off route I would have had to pay even more. The place I rented from the man was wonderful understanding the mileage n having too load a 26ft in morning n drive 100 miles then unload all in one day was extremely stressful but he helped me out. I do say the equipment had gotten so so much better then years past. Basically if one is moving far I think mileage n look at giving them an extra day to unpack. Which this place gave me.
