I found an AirTag tracking me inside the cab of the U-Haul. It was in the container for the road reflectors incase the U-Haul breaks down. The box with the reflectors had a sticker seal, but it tracked my every location. I only found it after I came home…where it can see my route home.

The gentlemen at the location was awesome and very helpful with attaching the trailer for me. However, I do have one complaint, we had a raining day after I loaded the items into the trailer and the trailer does have a leak, therefore some of my furniture/large pictures got wet. The leak is coming from the upper front right corner of roof.

You guys are absolutely scandalous when you didn't have to be you made it seem with a full truck of stuff that I had a dead battery I had extended the reservation and it was due back at 4:00 a.m. it was then 8:00 p.m. and I hadn't been able to get a hold of my boss for him too make the $60 payment and then when he had tried to make the payment he they told me that he wasn't allowed to make any sort of payment on my account so I was at work and not in the know on what the status was as far as the payment and while sitting in the vehicle a tow truck pulls up and says U-Haul wants me to take it now if you would have just conducted a conversation surrounding the payment maybe there wouldn't be such a high Bill attached but as I'm hearing from the tow truck driver himself and his company you enjoy doing this to people and you are relentless and making sure it was taken from the customer so no I don't believe however use you or anybody affiliated with you and I will never refer you if anything I will steer them somewhere else to pay a little more with rider or what have you than ever deal with you all again

Every time I visited the store there was a long line, but yet 2 or 3 employees standing around doing nothing. The staff seemed unfriendly to other patrons and did mint appear to be very helpful in answering their questions or directing them to their rental.

The first U-Haul location at 841 E Mission Rd, Fallbrook CA 92028, which is called Gonzalez Rentals, was not there for me to pick up my Trailer at 9:00 AM. He was closed because he was sick. There was prior notice of his closure. This put me in quite a bind. I called the Oceanside Regional Office, and the lady agent help me get another location that was 14 miles away., which was Kwic rentals and smog in Temecula. This whole situation really put a lot more miles, extra time plus frustration that was not necessary. I have read that you have a policy of Guaranteed Reservation or $50 if not satisfied with the first reservation. This was truly a mess and Gonzalez Rentals should be removed from your list. Please let me know if I will receive the $50, which I truly believe should happen based on the facts. Thank you, John Crilly

Parking was very congested and not clear signage as to where to drop off. Agent tried was helpful with sorting out the “missing” dolly that was never loaded onto the truck. He also tried to charge me for the crack in the windshield but said since I had insurance it wasn’t going to cost me anything. Seemed like he was trying to pull a scam on me. I told him the crack was there and noting hit the windshield during my drive.

Horrible experience. 2 trailers with flat tires. Took hours for them to service them. Then they weren’t repairable. Horrible. They gave a trailer that should’ve never made it off the lot! Would never use U-Haul again.

Change the sequence of the return procedure. I dropped the keys too soon and I was unable to take some photos that are required. In addition, I encountered an error message online that interrupted the return sequence.
