JAMES QThe UHaul we rented was missing a windshield wiper on the driver's side. Additionally, as we drove it, the "check engine" light came on and we had to take it to a service station to have it checked.. The truck was not well maintained. I would like my cost to be refunded. This was a disaster.
COLLEEN AThe location was not an ideal U-Haul partner, but in a way that was good. The process was fast, easy, and to the point. They are open a little later than most partners, it was just the smoothest U-Haul rental I have ever experienced. I was told that I might receive monies back for the gas but was charged extra from the quoted price, for the most part, it was good experience.
Antonio MMy rental was to be picked up by 4:00 pm, on Sunday, hours of operation of the business said open until 5:00 pm, a confirmation was sent to me for puck up, we arrive just before 4, and maintenance guy working on the business, tells us no one was there, they aren't open on Sundays and he doesn't know how to complete our rental. Calls the business owner, and tells him we are there to pick up a rental. Owner tells hime they'll be open Monday at 8, and that's all he is willing to do. We were not able to load up and leave Sunday. We Monday, we arrive for our puck up, My reservation had already moved online to past rentals. As though I picked it up. The owner, again not present, the employees have to call him to get authorization to complete my rental. Fortunately the trailer was clean. And the hooked it up to our vehicle. Paperwork and receipt not available, but within an hour of leaving, the facility my reservation is billed and rental dates were changed to 8th to 10th. (Originally 7th to 9th) We drove straight to Mesquite after loading and returned the trailer that same day only renting for 9 hours .. the employees at the Garland LBJ location were very helpful even trying to make up for some of our troubled pick up. Unable to make up for our bad experience with the unreliable Himble TX Business.
gwynne kI requested some furniture covers and I was informed they were out until I picked up the truck. By then it’s too late.
Antonio VNo one there to communicate with- had to move a dumpster and a couple vehicles just to get to the trailer and exit. Trailer tires were low - needed air. Hassle took 45 mins to get In touch with someone knowledgeable about the U-Haul rental. Then they added addition coverage w/o my consent.

Brandon PWhen I pulled up there was no office sign, no obvious entry. Someone came out to meet me, hooked me up to a trailer with a busted light, then had to change to a different trailer. I did not see any paperwork or sign for it, so they charged me $25, almost 50% more than the reservation price when they added driving protection I did not reserve or want.
George FNot charge the customer for 2 days when they had the truck less than 24 hours!
