The gentleman who works there is very nice helpful and friendly this is the third time renting a truck from this location which was recommended by my kids as they have rented from this location as well. Check in using the app took 1 hour. On hold with customer service 20 minutes. App would not work, customer service was confused. My phone is an android and couldn't not get past taking photo of ID. Eventually used an iphone, had to make setting changes in the phone to get it to work. Got the truck with 3/4 tank of gas, returned with over 1/2 but was charged over $40 for gas.Doug H.
Small parking area for customers. Parking area for rental vehicles also not very well marked, rather haphazard on the street. Quick check-in due to online check-in the night before. Also quick drop-off.JAMES N.

When I picked up my truck, none of the equipment I rented was inside. The location was closed at the time and we had to leave so I could not wait around for them to open to get our equipment.Garrett L.

the Lacey uhaul was fine, however i had made arrangrments to pick up in seattle & do of in chehalis & last minute they told me i could not do that i would have to bring back to Seattle. that's why we chose Lacey.Heather G.

When a closer location was not available I received a call from UHaul to locate a different location for my needs. I'm thankful 5200 Lacey Blvd SE was available on short notice. Staff was very helpful and answered my questions. Very friendly staff.Valarie A.

Great equipment, easy to load the car but had to use a come along to get the car on the trailer and the loop you have in the middle was great. I will say the tiedown chains are not the greatest we had ones in the Air Force that could be attached then tightened up by turning a fitting, Slill it was much easier than I thought it would be.Jaffe L.

Its been a two day nightmare. I have spent over six hours on the phone with Uhaul. I was assured if the truck they recommended did not work I could exchange it. It did not work, I spent hours trying to exchange it on the phone with support and they gave up, assuring me I would be refunded, I have not been. Customer service told me to go to the location, I went there, the location told me to call customer service again, I did. Customer service said they didn't know why and said they would send someone to the location and get back to me in and hour, its been over an hour. My fridge has not ben used and I have spent more then 12 hours of the last 24 hours just trying to return the original truck and schedule another one.Travis W.

I was the primary person using this storage. Day one. Closed at 3:11. I had to put the truck loaded in a semi-secure place. That also caused me to hire a crew the next day to unload. I was told by Uhaul that I qualified for 1 month free. We were told the next day upon arrival again, they do not honor that. I was in a pinch and had no other choice. I only used the storage until we found an apartment. I am dissatisfied that the cost to hire a new crew, gas back to Lacey and another day of exhaustion and inconvenience wasn't considered when I discussed this with Larry. He was kind, but said Ryan said we would only get the deposit back. That location is not a place I will refer to. I believe the funds should be credited back. From day one I was misinformed and closed. I should not have to chase any manager down. They know I'm not satisfied. If I were the Manager, I would call the customer right away. Always there's a problem with the 26 footer truck if you reserve it in one place they have you pick it up in different Location so this is difficult for the customerFrehiwet M.
The office did not have power the morning I was supposed to pick up the truck. The guy working the office was fantastic! He had a line of people and none of us could use the app to get our keys. The attendant was super. Quick service, cordial, professional. Some of the moving blankets were dirty. The cab smelled like cigarette smoke and the cargo area smelled like dirty wet dogs.Daniel G.

The location was fine. What was not was the truck return process on mobile phone. It did not work on my phone, trying to find â€œlocationâ€ failed every time. Thankfully there was someone else with me and I had to use their phone. Additionally, trying to take pictures in the dark, pouring rain and wind was very frustrating. With all the issues we had, the return process took like 20 minutes. Please look into streamlining or improving that part, it was dreadful.Josiah D.

Honestly the only improvement Uhaul can do is lower the cost of services. Especially on smaller vehicles pickups to 15' trucks. The only reason I went with Uhaul, is all the trucks from Home Depot were rented and I had last minute moving needs. Home depot rents for low cost, no milage fees, and no add on like insurance.Laurie J.

Never again will I use that store. Made reservation via phone and said I would be there 30-45 minutes. Got there with sign on door that they were checking in equipment and would be back soon. 45 minute wait and 3 trips walking the entire lot every row. Not a soul on the property. Called and left a voicemail about the reservation and finally received a call back 3 hours later asking if I still wanted it. Went to get it and has to leave to go to bank to transfer funds. Got back at 4:30 pm and the rental was given to someone else. Downgraded to van which was only one left. Didn't get told that there was a reservation on the van at 9am next morning. Was called at 945 about where can was. Told them I had to get back to van and unload but would be a couple hours. Turned can in by noon and was then told that I would be charged an additional day rate plus 50 for someone else reservation. So I am being charged 19.99 x2 and 50 fee for someone else's rental when I had the van in my possession 19 hours TOTAL. I was not given a 50 missed reservation credit when the employee had office locked and wouldn't answer the phone for 3 hours. Absolutely the worst experience in any retail environment as well as horrible customer service and beyond rude employees.Donald T.
