We were told we could do after hours drop off. Arrived, followed all online instructions successfully, walked around the corner to drop key at officeâ€¦ and no drop box. Didn't know whether we should leave the U-Haul there, since we had checked out? Had to return next morning at 10am to drop key. Frustrating. But upon arrival, office staff that created us were helpful and courteous.Ralph C.

Shitty wiper blades made it to the first turn around point and went back. The shop did not have wiper blades so he took a set from another truck. They were marginally better. The next day I struck out in the rain for Reno. Inside of the truck cab was dirty. Don't know if you have these trucks governed but this one was so weak that it took an absoute minimum of .5 miles to pass and if it was an upgrade forget it. I have not been so uncomfortable since the 1950 something farm truck. And all this with a minimum weight load. I will not rent another haul truck. Trailer maybe no truck.carl S.
Sign says 24hr drop off. I asked when they close and said I woukd not be back by then. A few minutes later AFTER I paid, the guy tells me there is no 24hr drop off. Kind of important when factoring in work schedules and school drop offs. I get a mile down the road and realize the van has slightly less than an 1/8 of a tank. I took a picture to document this. The next day upon return, the same guy comes and asks me if I put any gas in the tank after he checks out the rental. Says it doesn't have a 1/4 tank of gas. Yeah, no kidding. Luckily I had proof. I put enough gas in the van to make it 1/8 of a tank. He said he would take care of it and I wouldn't pay any more. I mean, come on . . . You don't do your job and then question me about whether I did my part? The guy said he would e-mail me my receipt. I turned in the keys around 9am. It's been 12 hours and I still don't have it. I don't care about the gas level. I care that I would've had to pay for his lack of inspection/documentation had I not paid attention.Michael E.

When we arrived to the location, it was difficult to get into. We arrived right on time for our scheduled pick up. Walked inside the office and there was no one available. We called out for someone a few times before my husband went out to walk around the location to see if he could find someone. Having the office open with no employee nearby is a security concern. Anyone could have walked in and behind the counter with ease, or taken items from the location. About 10 mins later, the employee was seen walking across the street back to the office. They walked right past us into the office without greeting us or apologizing for not being available. I found the whole interaction to be incredibly unprofessional. When we went to return the vehicle, after seeing that most locations were open until 7pm, we found the office was closed. The contract provided said that if the return was done after business hours to place the key in the drop box. There was no drop box. A sign on the door said they were closed at 5 and that there was no drop box due to recent theft. This is information that I feel should have been communicated to us when we were there to pick it up. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience and I will not be returning to this location or recommending anyone there.Timothy B.

I booked for 8:00am and received an email confirming it from Uhaul but when I went pickup the ruck the facility did not open until 9:00am and when I logged into my Uhaul account it now said 9:00am pick up. Better customer service. Also i went online a couple days before I needed the rental and filled out all the paperwork, submitted my driver's license and credit card so everything would be smoother and quicker when I went to pick up the rental. Not the case at all. Once I got to the rental place they had no record of me filling out any paperwork he said he didn't have anything showing that I submitted my driver's license or credit card so I had to do all that over again and I didn't like the fact that he took a picture of the front and back of my driver's license with his personal phone that's crazy to me. I don't mind if we enter the number in any information you need off of there into your guys's computer but for an employee to use his personal phone to take pictures of my information that doesn't seem right. So I had to do everything all over again and after that I had the wrong size ball for the trailer I was renting and the last time I rented from you guys the gentleman behind the counter let me borrow the right size ball so I can get going and do my thing. This time around the guy behind the counter said that they don't rent them they don't let people borrow them and if I wanted to buy one I could buy one so obviously I had to buy one and that was an extra $40, yes it's my responsibility to have the right size ball I get it but things happen and that's where customer service comes into play because this isn't the first time I've rented from this establishment but it is the last time.CHRISTOPHER H.

The equipment was clean enough. I was moving old furniture to the dump so it didn't really matter whether or not the vehicle was pristine or not. I would recommend that anyone relying on a simple rating system to make their rental decisions do their own physical determination (at the time of reservation/pickup) of equipment cleanliness that might be required of their own needs.ANNA S.
