Dave was incredibly helpful during the rental process. Very pleasant and we had a few laughs. The truck he rented to me was really clean mechanically sound and ran beautifully on my move to Florida. It would be nice to have a person onsite to help with returning trailers and parking them in the location they want.

ERNEST SThe van was absolutely useless. The tires were not safe or suitable for a snow area. I was not able to access the place my stuff is being stored. The driveway was plowed and sanded, but the tires were unable to drive up the slight incline. I even spun on flat parking lot because of a slight snow covering. Renters should be warned. It was a heavy cost to not be able to retrieve my possessions. No reflection on the local facility. U-Haul should be responsible for the vehicles they provide. Very disappointed

Elaine SIt was a storage unit place with many holes in the ground. The trailer was parked in a huge puddle and we got soaked trying to get it hooked up and pulled out. Th man was nice - but after I received the invoice via email I noticed the price was different from what the 1st guy quoted me $119.00 when I booked the tupper lake trailer which was later canceled due to unavailability. Why the difference in price?
ERIN RSpace was not open during store hours, equipment was not in truck that was reserved, no one from store answered phone, had to call uhaul customer service several times, drove across town to “office location” and door was locked (during open office hours)
Jessica AIt's OK for drop off of vehicles, but not for storage. The unit in which I though I'd put my furniture was filthy, with a dead mouse on the floor. I ended up moving it to another location.

David SYour app and online reservations needs to be greatly improved. If there was another rental company near by I would have chosen them over U Haul because of your horrible app.
Robert WActually never got to meet Dave but I did have a phone conversation with him about dropping off the truck in the lot using the self-drop off U-haul app because he wasn't going to be around. Thank goodness my son was around to help with the mobile app drop off procedure, as I couldn't get it to work with my "senior fingers." I'm hoping that everything check out ok but I never got an email or phone message receipt and am assuming the information on charges that displayed on the app when my son finished were correct. Otherwise, a relatively easy, successful drop off. Thank you.

Lisa SThe U-Haul app was not working so I could not Check the truck rental on my return. I had to call customer service and they were saying to go in and do it in person, but it was not open as the Customer representative was surprised. All the customer representative could do was to send an email to the location and I could not check out. it took over 20 minutes for this to happen and it was not convenient. I would not use this checkout location in a future as I have a second home in Lake Placid and Will use a different location.
Patrick FThe back of the Uhaul was dirty and had food in it. The cab was clean. No maintenance issues. The agent set in his car to do the entire transaction while I stood outside his car there being swarmed by black flies.
Kim DThe quality the vehicle was in when I picked it up was a bit rough even for a U-Haul. 1. The van had TWO cup holders filled with liquid that was tinted green and had stuff floating in it. 2. The remaining cup holders had a sticky black substance in them 3. The van wreaked of stale cigarette smoke 4. The side paneling in the rear had straw in in with rabbit poop as well. None of these items are suitable for a rental even if it is U-Haul. It would be nice if they were maintained a little bit.
Steven DIt was odd that we had to go to the site the trailers were at to find directions to the place we had to drive to to sign our contract and then go back to get the trailer. That wasn't very convenient. It would have been better to be directed there first.
Thomas AThe vehicle I rented was extremely filthy dirty. It smelled like someone had vomited and I had to clean the steering wheel. There was water in the cupholders absolutely awful condition. I did not have an option because this was the only van available. I had to drive with gloves on.
Connie LVehicle was dirty (looked like a carbonated beverage exploded over the passenger seat area). Large circular crack in the windshield on the passenger side. Vehicle only had 1/2 tank of gas when picked up. Attempted to contact drop off location several times & nobody answered so I called UHAUL directly. I was being transferred to scheduling and just like the drop off location, nobody answered. Extremely poor customer svc that felt directed towards a disabled veteran.

Adk MNobody was there when I picked up at my designated time then I had to call and change my pickup to on my phone and then the app glitched and wouldn’t scan my license. Nothing to do with the location but U-Haul in general is a rip off and I will not be renting again. I would’ve saved money just using my truck and making trips. They charged me an extra $50 for going 1 mile outside my mileage then charged me $30 for it not being directly on 3/8ths gas and charged me $50 for them having to put gas in it. When I picked up I had to put gas in it to make it to my destination and it was $50 to fill it. So they charged me $80 for half an 8th of gas. First and worst experience ever.
Mariah BNot all the lights worked on the trailer, wiring was hanging low on the trailer. Trailer was covered in road dirt/salt so a full inspection could not be completed.
Jonathan SArea wasn’t plowed well. Had to drive between 2 storage units and the truck was getting stuck in iced slush that hadn’t been cleared. The parking was not easy and ended up having to leave uhaul parked off the side near another truck.
