Both rear tires on trailer were showing metal cords and beyond bald. This should have been seen when trailer was returned. The store clerk was not helpful with the part of getting service. This location was also out of my way. Cost extra fuel for me to get equipment.

I was very dissatisfied with the drop-off experience at this location. The attendant was not friendly or welcoming, and the overall level of customer service was poor. There was no printer available to provide me with a hard copy of my final receipt. Instead, I was told to take several photos of the attendant’s computer screen while he scrolled through the receipt. This is not an acceptable or professional way to provide a customer with important rental documentation. I was also frustrated by the location being listed as “Lakemart Esso” in Kincardine. Despite the “Esso” name, there are no gas pumps or fuel available at this location. I specifically expected to be able to refuel the truck when returning it and instead had to drive to the other end of town to find a gas station before completing the return. This is misleading and unnecessarily inconvenient for customers returning rental vehicles. U-Haul should clearly state on the rental agreement and drop-off instructions that fuel is NOT available at this location, so customers know they must refuel elsewhere before arriving. Overall, the drop-off experience fell well below the level of customer service and convenience I would expect from U-Haul.

The staff at Lakeside Esso seemed perplexed as to why I was coming in the store to get the truck key. I had already signed in using the uhaul App, so I was expecting to pick the key up without having to make contact with anyone. The staff asked me only a couple of questions, along with asking me was the contract number was (which was the appropriate thing to ask), and handed me a key without any direction for finding the truck. It isnt a large lot but there were 2 trucks...one on one side of the building and the other on the other side. Would've been helpful if they had an ounce of customer service in them to provide some help and direction.

When I picked up truck the worker vancelled ot by accident and had to redo. He Changed mileage from 48 to 30 so now I owe extra charges.He fid not schedule drop off at port elgin I had to call myself and make all the arrangements for drop off because he forgot to reschedule drop off.I called I had ordered a dolly it was not there at pick up.Very unorganized and not trained properly to do uhaul orders.I would never recommend this location.Very unprofessional!And caused needed stress to me the customer!

I arrived and checked in with the store clerk his visa machine didn’t work and made me go behind the desk with my visa which was weird. He gave me the keys without doing a walk around the truck, which didn’t seem right. I even read inside the vehicle that he should have with me. I checked the cargo it was dirty and I had to clean it and as well as the front of the vehicle had Tim hortons cup holder and wrappers. Overall the cleanliness of this track was bad and I had to clean up which wasted my time. I reported it when I dropped off to the other location. I also have pictures .

They are rude don't even acknowledge you as a customer and they over charged me $30.00 when I questioned them I was felt like I was nothing and total disregard for me as a women then where talking behind my back in there language

My experience at the Kincardine location was absolutely terrible. My pickup was scheduled for 8:00am, the owner did not show up until 8:30am and was very unapologetic. The U-Haul was covered in a foot or more of snow and a huge berm was infront of the truck. The owner looked at me and said “I probly can’t get it out…not really my problem”. I did not leave the location until almost 9:30am, I had movers at my house for 8:30am. Very bad business, the U-Haul should be ready to go for the pickup time. I will never recommend the Kincardine location to anyone. I have used U-Haul before and had very good service but the kincardine location should be shut down or given to someone who cares about people. The owner would not speak to me when I dropped it off, all did was wave his hand at me to leave. Terrible experience.

It would be nice if the store owner didn't try to make me sound like a liar about the fuel in the truck when returning the truck with the exact same fuel level that it had when I picked it up. Also would be nice if they spoke proper English.

I rented a 4x8 trailer. The trailer was clean, but both tire pressures were very low. I usually don't check, but decided to check while I was checking my cars pressure before a long trip. One tire was at 28psi and the other at 32psi, less than half of the trailer nameplate 65psi cold setting.

The staff were friendly and eager to rent the equipment but they had absolutely no idea what they were doing. The whole experience was so totally confusing. The only reason I continue to use this location is because it is the only dealer within 50 km.
