Scheduled pickup was at 7:30 am. Arrived at the location at 7:10 am. When we tried to check in through the app, we received a notification to call customer service. We called customer service and was informed that that this location requested an in person pick up. The location doesn't open until 9:00 am so this wasn't going to work. We were upgraded to a larger vehicle where we could get the key through the lock box, we were provided a code for the lock box that didn't work so we were transferred to another representative. He gave us the same code for the box after informing him that the code didn't work. He gave us a code for the 2nd lock box which worked. When we got in, it was noticed that there was less than 1/4 tank of gas. It was our understanding that the vehicle would be gassed and ready to go, It was also our understanding that when the vehicle is dropped off it was to be full of gas, we also found out that none of this is correct. You don't have to put gas in prior to dropping the vehicle off, very disappointed in U-Haul.

Great location
MARK VI was not happy with U-Haul because they changed my pick up location and it was not open until later in the morning. I called customer service and their whole attitude was “too bad for you”. The rental location had nothing to do with it and they were great to work with. Corporate could lead a lesson in customer support
