Not happy with U-Haul service. We selected Alexandria location and was called the day before being told that we had to drive to Nelson and pick up. We couldn’t get the size we rented and I thought the person on the line was rude about the whole situation. Nothing about this was smooth on uhauls end. I’ve also been told that U-Haul is a shit show which is the words that was used and can completely agree with that! My whole day was pushed back due to how unorganized this company is. I’ll find another moving company next time and will share my experiences if someone ask about renting a U-Haul. The only nice part was the guy at pick up and drop off location and he dosnt even work for U-Haul technically.
ASHLEY BThey all looked at me as if it was their first day and didn't know what to do. They told me that it was "Eric" who I needed to talk to to drop off our equipment but that he was out. I responded with "ok, that's fine, we're not in a terrible hurry." I went out to make sure everything was cleaned out of the truck. Came back in and stood there and thought I was waiting for Eric. Finally, after 10 more minutes, I asked if they had an expected time of Eric's return. They said next week. I replied with, "ok, well can someone else help with my return?" Its at that time that they informed me nothing else was required of me.
