This is a terrible location to drop off a rental. The very small parking lot was mostly full of non-UHaul vehicles. There was one parking spot open we had to squeeze the truck into. Another gentleman was trying to drop off a truck and he had to park on the grass.

The truck was clean. Everything was OK except the very loud muffler and being that the location was experiencing setbacks and delays because their Internet was out. I couldn’t wait for another truck if they even had one, but the main issue here was the muffler was super loud driving for three hours. It was a nightmare give me a headache couldn’t speak couldn’t have a conversation couldn’t listen to the radio. It was very loud.!!!

Having a horrible time returning trailer. Go to return trailer app can detect my location as the trailer needs to be dropped off at the back of the lot. And I had to take a q r code that was all in the front of the building on the opposite side of the gate, so I had to drive all the way back to the front of the building, to take a pic of a qr code. Then when I get oh, settled and dropped off the trailer back at the back. Location through the process of finishing the checkout app. Loser's location research. The whole process didn't get to take the pictures of the returned Equipment and cancels out my refund option and charged me the full amount when I returned this A day early

Tire was defective and needed to be replaced 30 miles into my trip. It took two hours for corporate to approve the replacement. Extremely disappointing!

I got charged because i had a 106 mile allowance but ran 106.4 miles and was charged an additional .42c after return which is a bit ridiculous. If less than a mile difference there should be no additional charge especially since i left the gas tank with 1/3 more of a tank than what i received it at.

The drop off location closed at 2:00 on a Saturday. They left one parking spot to put the truck. It was extremely tight and I felt sorry for the owner of the vehicle I parked next to however there was no other spot available. Also, I picked up the vehicle with gas for 184 miles to empty and returned it with 195 miles. Gage on both were at the half mark. This did not stop U-haul from charging me $11 for 2 gallons of gas. I will never use Lakeside Storage again.

The truck was sorely in need of maintenance. It was having a hard time accelerating and sputtered a number of time. Also, for 28 miles being put on, price appears to have gotten a little crazy at U-Haul.

Horrible experience the truck that was rented to me had staring issues along with many other issues, including front shocks or struts that needed to be replaced steering alignment off to go straight you have to turn it right or left steering is erratic and vibrating the whole time because of the front end also damaged previous to the left driver door wouldn’t completely seal when shut resulting in horrible road noise blowing through the frame of the door, making it unbearable for the 3 1/2 hour one-way hike I had. Can’t believe this truck is still in use wouldn’t trust it to go a mile up the street let alone hundreds of miles.

I requested the mobile app check in / pick up for early pick up before our selected location opened. When I arrived at the facility, our assigned truck was blocked in by 2 other trucks and we couldn't access our rented truck. We had a number of people lined up to assist with our move. We were delayed. I think it would be good service from U-Haul to reimburse us for part of our rental. We were disappointed with the mobile app pick up.

Please inform customer that text will be sent and to take photos of inside of truck. We weren’t told and I didn’t hear my phone notification. We didn’t see the text until well into our move. Also, there should be a policy of all trucks being provided and returned with full tanks of gas. When being charged for hours, it is very inconvenient to be given a truck with 1/4 tank of gas and have to start the move my stopping for gas, in addition to adding gas again before returning it. The desk clerk was friendly.

This was the first time we ever used a storage facility (my MIL's stuff) and we were so pleased. The only thing I would say is you may need a couple more carts to help people move stuff in and out. I also would like to give a compliment to the lady who we spoke to several times on the phone. She was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and a WONDERFUL representative for your company. We have already recommended your facility.

I wouldn’t recommend it because of the pricing I got since I’ve been there three increases and prices they’re not competitive with other storage companies. I got a cheaper deal same storage inside facility for cheaper. I think that you should have competitive prices and not keep raising your prices. That’s the only reason why I moved out because you kept raising the rent.

The place is a great storage unit. I paid for the whole month that I moved out even though I moved out 12 days early. I left it clean and ready for them to rent out. I thought I would get some of my money back for the 12 days but I was told no. If I would have known that I would have left the lock on so they couldn’t rent it out right away

We never had any problems at the storage facility. They were always very friendly and accomodationg whether communicating by phone or in person. I have recommended the facility to many people and will continue to do so. Before this rental, I rented a smaller space and never worried about my stuff be safe or the place having mice or bugs or anything like that. It was always clean and accessible. Great experience and good prices, never any increase either in almost 6 years of renting, plus I got a 10% senior discount which really helped. This place is a huge cut above all the others I looked at.
