Jeff K(see above, continued) At the dropoff location in Oklahoma, there were no attendants there to assist with the disconnection, as the trailer I had selected had no lift jack installed. There was a small trailer office with a sign, so I knocked and was greeted by a small child/teenager who simply said "Leave the trailer wherever you want". The parking lot was a sloping grass field so I couldn't exactly un-hitch as the trailer would roll away, and... again... there was no lift jack on the trailer itself. I asked if the child/teenager could fetch some large rocks as wheel chocks and leveraged the tongue of the trailer off my hitch myself. This was without a doubt the WORST UHAUL experience I have ever encountered. I have had several great experiences in the past, but this was by far the most abysmal.

Clay LThere was nobody present when I dropped off the trailer. The only way I knew to actually leave it was by asking workers at a business nearby. They told me the area was monitored by cameras and if the manager had questions he would review the video and contact me if necessary.
John GThe franchisee at this location was very helpful. He helped me find the truck I needed even though the reserved one wasn't available. The representatives at Uhaul phone service were friendly and helpful, but there doesn't seem to be clear communication between the company and the pickup location. Uhaul doesn't seem to really know where their inventory actually is. I've heard this same thing from several friends who have had bad experience with the company

I called them, explained my situation and Andrea said she’d meet me there. She was perfect! I’m planning a cross country move in a couple months and I’ll be returning to this location.

For Uhaul.com, when it's already 5:45 pm on the day I want to pick up equipment, I probably should not be able to schedule that as my pick up time, although that did work in my favor...

David TThis was a comedy of errors: 1. made a reservation on line to pick up in Stillwater, OK. When I called to let them know that I was running late, they said they did not have my reservation or a truck to rent. They said the truck was in Guthrie, OK, so I go to the one store in Guthrie that I knew about on the north side, it was closed, So I called the Guthrie number, they said that the store I needed to go to was way on the south side. As I was getting close to the store I get a call from the National U-Haul reservation line telling me the information I had already found out, at the same time I was talking to them my son was talking to the Guthrie main store telling him how to go about getting the rental. We originally were to pick the truck up at 9 a.m., but it wound up being 11 a.m. before we picked it up. It all worked out in the end, but I really was starting to worry at first
