They didn’t have any of the equipment needed to move. I requested blankets, hand truck and furniture dolly and got nothing. Not to mention this location is over an hour from my house. I was supposed to pick it up just down the street. Not impressed.
Nicholas WI wouldn’t recommend U-Haul at all to anyone. I didn’t deal with anyone specifically at this location though as I picked up after hours.
Jamie FThe location was closed at 3:00pm on Saturday. So, I called the location as indicated on the contract. A rep answered. I informed the rep who I was and that I was making a drop off. She encouraged me to drop off the key in the key drop off box. I told her that I did not have a key to a vehicle, because I had a trailer. She then said that she had no way to check in the equipment. I replied, "ok, thank you." There was no response from her. I hung the phone up. I parked the trailer in the area where similar trailers were parked.

Jayson SThe truck was below the empty mark when we picked it up. Didn't know if it would make it to the nearest gas station. They acknowledged the dolly rental on the reservation, forgot to give us one, realized they didn't have any, then had to send us to another location to pick up one. I will say that the woman helping us was very nice. She may have been thrown off by having the U-Haul system down and not being able to process our rental. We had to return a couple of hours later when the system was back up. That was not her fault and all on the U-Haul company. Suggestion... Have gas at least above empty. Have equipment reserved.
Cheryl DI had a reservation to pick up my until at 5:30am but was unable to because the location was closed until 8:40am. The owner said i was supposed to be given a code through my email or in the app but i never got one. I also was told i would receive a $50 credit but the owner said i need to call U-Haul for that and the the person on the phone said i need to talk to the owner at the location.

The downside as far as sending referrals or recommend someone go there is that it is a simple gravel lot next to an auto mechanic shop and not much election to choose from. Served our purposes though and kept us on track for getting to our destination that day

Julie TI dropped the trailer off and went to let them know and get it checked in. The lady was locked in the office, came to the door and said just leave it and go. Well, I wanted it checked in and looked at before I left but she wasn’t getting away from her phone. Then I got an email that it had been checked in the next day at 11am.
Scott GEquipment not in working order due to catalitiyc converter issue, had to have roadside assistance at our house until late. Big inconvenience. Informed that it would affect milage but not offered any discount of refund for all the trouble. Leak during move. Boxes got wet. Not super happy after how much we paid. No hooks inside unit to be able to secure load.

BETHANY BHonestly, I can't think of any part of the process that needs improvement. The employee who assisted me at the pick up location as well as the employee at the drop off were great. Both were friendly, competent, and efficient, thus ensuring the rental process didn't suck. The pick up location is local and I will use them next time I need a rental.

Mukesh PSafety inspect your vehicles and car transports! This location put my families life on the line and many others on the road. Truck shaking so bad at 50 mph with load. Ratchet straps on transport kept coming loose and would not hold the ratchet tight

John SUpon arriving at location early and making myself late for work doing so, the guy showed up 7 mins late. I had already positioned trailer where I figured it would be out of the way but had not disconnected it because I wanted to be courteous and ensure he would not need to move it after I left. When the guy arrived he opened the business and turned on the lights so I exited my truck and greeted him with a good morning and asked if where I had parked the trailer was ok. The guy then told me "I don't have time for that sh&t this morning" and started to walk inside the business. I then unhooked the trailer and returned it using online method. I would not recommend this business to my worst enemy and will never patronize this unprofessional and disrespectful establishment. This place should be closed and a taco stand put in its place in my opinion.
Tracy SCustomer service was bad. I was told that they would price match but the location was closed when I got there! It took forever for them to send someone out to help open the lock. If I don’t have to use uhaul again I will try my best not too!

SCOTT WThe only issue I had was while driving down the highway there was a random high pitch noise that would happen every so often, very annoying if you were to be on a long road trip. Everything else was good!

colin bI have a general complaint, not specific to the pick up or drop off locations. I've recently rented two trailers. In both cases I drove from my resident town to another town, picked up the trailer in the 2nd town, loaded it, and drove the trailer back to my resident town. A friend now informs me that the rental fee would have been much cheaper if I'd picked up the trailer in my resident town and returned it to the same location. I was never informed by U-Haul of this counter-intuitive pricing discrepancy and am not a bit pleased about this.
TOM HBetter your systems so that when all information has been entered online we do not have to do it completely over at the site/store.
