easy drop off
LAWRENCE SClerk had no idea how self check in worked and ran my credit card. Multiple times so my bank shut down my card. Very inconvenient and cost me a lot of time to get my back accountable back on. Roll up for on back of truck kept getting stuck. And trunk ran rough please give refund to compensate for the inconvenience.

Mark MVery poor experience at this location, detailed below: - Truck key was not located in the lockbox, despite us being given a combination code for the box. We tried to open with the code for 15 minutes, thinking we were doing it incorrectly. After finally calling the help number, associate says: "Of course the key isn't in the lockbox, you have to come inside to pick it up!" It was 7pm, after hours, and we were following very clear instructions given by Uhaul, but of course it must be our fault! (After reserving a truck at a closer location, we were suddenly switched to this location, over 5 miles further than the original, making the pick up after my work even tougher to get to than originally planned) - After finally getting into out van, we notice our furniture dolly that we reserved was not inside. Hm, must be a mistake, so I go ask the associate where we can get our dolly. Associate: "There are no dollies." Me: "I reserved a dolly with the truck." Associate: "I'll take the charge off." Me: "I have a large furniture piece, I'm a small person, and only reserved a truck with Uhaul so that I can also rent a dolly." Associate: "We have no dollies." Such a riveting justification. - On we go to pick up the piece. By the time we get to our pick up location, the place is closed, employees were not available to help us load, and so we couldn't pick up our furniture. -Guess what, I was still charged for the furniture dolly that didn't exist! All in all, choose a different location, and perhaps not Uhaul.
Ryan KThe van was generally clean, but the inside smelled when I turned on the air-conditioning and I believe there was something wrong with oil in the engine. Perhaps low level or pressure issues, but the gauge kept bouncing up and down. Also the locks on the doors had to be locked individually

Marcus GVehicle selection is limited for on-demand needs. The staff here needs to work on their english-speaking skills and become more customer friendly as they seemed annoyed with the U-Haul services process; thus, making verbal communication and the overall experience somewhat of a challenge. Otherwise, the vehicle rented was perfect.

Jacqueline KI was suppoesd to pick up uhaul 2 mins frok my house at 8am. When I arrived at the confirmed location there was no uhaul. I spent 30 minutes on hold before speaking to someone and was informed the uhaul hadn’t been returned by previous customer. This would have been great to know the night before moving day. Aftee on hold for 30 minutes waiting to find another uhaul the line was disconnected. Another 10 minutes on hold and an agent found us a uhaul 9 miles away. This was poor communication, resulting in delay to our moving schedule and additional costs. It would have made a world of difference had we been notified prior to 8am.
Alaina KThe 2 people I dealt with were not helpful other than to make sure the truck got rented and to make sure I got charged. Other than that the truck was not cleaned by previous rent or, back had debris left, cab had stuff left in it, sunglasses, an envelope and men’s underwear on the floor. They did not have the cart I ordered and so I took another, that was in horrible condition and could not use, and when I returned the truck the person refused to address this. He said it was not his problem. I could go on but let’s just say I will NEVER, utilize this location again!

Tim HWhen I booked online, the total was ~$30. I ended up getting charged $160. All of the extra fees were not disclosed to me. I even returned it 4 hours early. First and last time I use U-ripoff.

Chris MWhen I picked up the van the pressure in one of the tires was 10 psi versus the required 75 psi. I went back to talk to the counter agent, and he would do nothing to resolve the situation. I then said that I might be able to dive the van to my home to inflate the tire, but that I was worried whether that was safe to do. The agent said "May God protect you." I would not recommend this location and I will not use it again. In fact, I may decide not to use U-Haul again.

Angel MIt was quick. However, I expected the person to checkout the truck and give me a return receipt, but that did not happen.
Kurt Athe right rear tire was low and when we told the clerk he told us where we could fill up. we pulled around back and realized we had to pay for the air. Went back in to get change and then proceeded to fill the tire. I don't feel we should have to go through all that. i had to pay for the air.

Celsus ELocation was rather remote. Narrow country roads at some points. If driver is not comfortable on back roads, might not be good. Truck was very nice and clean. Newer. Easy to drive. We drove from Kennett Square to pick it up, about a 25 minute drive. closest available.
Jennifer BI rented the moving van. It was clean and ran great. No issues. The rental place was friendly and quick. Would and will rent again.
William MUhaul Ipad is a complete waste of time. Slow, unresponsive. Phone application works - don't waste customers time with the Uhaul device.
Thomas SI have to admit, the UHaul seemed old (70+ miles on it) and driving it made me a little nervous since I was going cross country (3,000 miles). But, man, you all certainly maintain the trucks well because that thing (20 footer with car trailer) was a work horse! Made it in 4 days -- no issues -- even with the AC going! THANKS to the mechanics!

Ben Ri switched my drop off location on sunday and they did not have the information at the location so had to wait much longer. finally the guy said go ill get it resolved. i fid get notification that check in occured about 1 kour adter leaving.
William CI'm upset my credit card account was charged before I drove away with the van. Upon coming back I was told my credit card was not charged yet. I was also due a refund. He told me I would get a refund and I still have not seen it hit my credit card account. I am going to contest the charge on my credit card account shortly if I don't see the credit arrive.
Michael UHave someone that can attend to only U Haul needs. This is a gas/convenience store location. The attendant was pleasant & competent. However he had to take care of customers buying fuel, food & drinks, tobacco products. Many interruptions. Too long of a process
JOHN FThe tire didn’t have enough air when I got the van. I had to pay to fill it. there wasn’t another van I could take just in case something else was wrong. the whole process so i can have the van was way too long. with the acceptance process plus having to fill the tires it took over a half hour out of my reservation. a lot of money for such a headache. would not recommend to a friend.

michelle bMy service at the location was fine the system of updating me that the truck pickup was in a different state SUCKED!!! Especially after arriving in the established location. As a result i had to pay taxes and significantly more mileage both of which i resent it will likely be a while before i use uhaul again... and i frequently rent trucks.
Courtlandt BThe actual place was fine but it was over 15 miles away from our original pick up location. My husband was never contacted on Saturday night by 6 as stated he would be. We found out at 9 am that we had to go way out of our way to pick up the rental. It was a guaranteed rental. It cost 30-35 miles worth extra and about an hour of time. This is unacceptable. This shows you are unreliable and I’m unhappy. I would love to be contacted.
Brian TThis is a Sunoco gas station so you can get gas, leave the truck, and hand in the key to a person and verify that the contract is complete.
