First of all the guy checking out was completely rude and i understand customer service in Laredo isn't the best but this guy took it to a different level. When i asked about a discrepancy on the contract he basically told me it is what it is. I'm glad i left Laredo and all its rudeness in my rear view mirror.MIGUEL J.

Time to pick up the unit was excessive, specially since I had already made a reservation and everything was (apparently) ready. I took them 30+ minutes to log into the system, access several screens, do a contract, etc.Adrian F.
More than the location, U-haul itself failed to check the condition of their equipment. Lesson for renters is to verify the trailer/rental equipment the day before. They are supposed to give me a trailer with a busted wheel (tread tires came off already). The location should have retired that one for the area manager to fix it and not place it on circulation until certified safe. Furthermore, when I went there last 08.21.21, the young attendants are not even trying to resolve the issue. I even saw them snickering and laughing at me from a far away. They seemed not trained for these transactions. The next day (08.22.21), was better. A different personnel was able to have patience and know how to assist me. But the "glitch" from U-haul reservation system is making the wait like almost an hour.EU B.
Uhaul did not have the size trailer I ordered and paid for in Larado. And I was not able to contact Uhaul phone rang busy from 4:30to 9:00 on pick day. Next day had to rent a truck and pay my movers overnight stay. This cost me about $1400.00 more than my original price. I am 70 years old and this was the worst CUSTOMER SERVICE in my life. Uhaul failed terribly no call or email before pick up and no way to contact Uhaul when I needed to. I will again never contact you or recommend youRONALD J.

When picking up unit I was advised my time arrival time affects my return time I picked up unit at 9 but didn't start loading stuff at 12 if I was told about the time frame I would of chosen a different time this made me get a late feeOscar B.

Sales person was unaware of my original contract for 26' truck. Said I must have hit the wrong button online and ordered a 20' truck. I checked the order receipt when I got home and I did order a 26' truck. Did not have the dollies and blankets I ordered. Did not offer to find them in town for me. But worst of all, did not warn me ahead of time, in the call made to confirm that I was picking up the truck, that my order could not be filled as I placed it. I had to find the dollies, myself, and drive a couple miles to get them. After arranging movers, I could not change my dates. So what should have been one move 1000 miles ended up taking 2 moves. Real bummer! So far, Uhaul has not stepped up to address any of my complaints, even after filing a phone and an email explanation of the problems they caused. (and being told that someone would reach out to me within 48 hours.)Connie M.

The person in that location, never explained to me how to open the back over head door and ramp, also inside cab, the steering wheel was very sticky with caffe or soda stain, dash board & floor very dusty . From 1 to 10 I'll give them a 6Ruben A.

We ordered a dozen moving blankets and an appliance dolly. When we got home we realized they gave us a normal dolly and 4 blankets. We called them and said we wanted a refund for the difference. they told us we would need to Deal with that at the drop off location.Traci D.

Give customers the location they originally requested. Why should customers go through the entire reservation process and end up picking up at a different location, with a different size truck, and not dolly equipment available. On this reservation I received zero items of my choice. I did not get the truck I wanted, nor the pick-up location, nor the dolly, nor the drop-off location. WORST experience ever. I do enjoy the aluminum floors in the truck though; very nice. I would get rid of or make the corner areas flush for easier loading.Jose L.

I ordered an appliance dolly on the uhaul page, but when I got to the location they did not have one. They did not charge me but they also did not let me know where I could get one. There was really no point in renting the truck without the dolly because I could not move my stuff without it. I had to go buy one from a big box store to move. The staff was very nice, but they lacked caring.Brandon P.

Truck was clean and looked good but had some trouble with the gas tank leaking. It should have been checked prior to leaving as caused us a delay with our travel.Benneth L.
When I rented this truck I was given a choice to return it to a location of my choice. I didn't check the paperwork because I thought it was unneccessary. When I went to the 1st location (Ingram) I was asked to take it to the Grissim location because they didn't have room. When going to that location, I was told that if I dropped it off there I would have to pay a hearty fee. So... I dropped off at this location (Vance Jackson). The gentleman was very helpful. He waived the millage overage and late fee. He said that he was having to do that all morning for other customers as well. Having to go from location to location was very frustrating for me because if the length of the truck (26 ft). This all could have been alleviated if the place in Laredo would have ensured that the location drop off was per our original agreement (location drop off of my choice).Lora C.

The agent assured me that if I returned the equipment that I had in advance that I would be reimbursed for the days I did not use it. However when I paid upfront for 3 days and I only used the equipment forn1 day I was told by a customer service rep that I WOUND NOT BE REIMBURSED. I assure you that I will never rent from uhaul again and i will not recommend your service as well i will explain exactly what happened to me. I paid for a rental for 3 days and turned it in after only 1 day and i went to the receiving location and was told as well that i would be refunded, but the equipment was already rerented and was gone. So that means that uhaul took my money and then rented the unit back out again and got paid doble the rate. That is superior bad customer service.WELDON T.

At the Houston location we paid cash, therefore there was a deposit charge. Houston store said, drop off location should give us back our $60 deposit. We paid cash at pickup location & we were told, at the drop-off location, that we had to wait to get back our $60 deposit by check, via mail 7-10 business days?
