First time using U-Haul was pretty good first experience. Just website kinda tricky when it came to renting online so I showed up in person.

peter sLast two occasions I've rented from this location, both times the trailer were dirty. This last rental had broken items left over from the previous renter. The uhaul rep did not properly secure the trailer to my hitch and I had to tighten the hitch. He had simply just placed the trailer on the hitch, hooked up the lights and then walked away. Light check wasn't even conducted before I departed the location.

Ricardo AThe rental was great. The only issue I had was that when I showed up to pick up my rental the employee at the Country Store in charge of Uhaul had not been scheduled to work that day. The Country Store employee did a great job in figuring out the computer system so that I could take my rental.
Juan aDedicated u-haul station with advertising would help this store/location stand out and possibly increase sales. U-haul could also supply staff with funds to embroider uniform sleeves with U-Haul logo.

When i asked about a discrepancy on the contract he basically told me it is what it is. I'm glad i left Laredo and all its rudeness in my rear view mirror.

RAMON QTime to pick up the unit was excessive, specially since I had already made a reservation and everything was (apparently) ready. I took them 30+ minutes to log into the system, access several screens, do a contract, etc.
Adrian FMore than the location, U-haul itself failed to check the condition of their equipment. Lesson for renters is to verify the trailer/rental equipment the day before. They are supposed to give me a trailer with a busted wheel (tread tires came off already). The location should have retired that one for the area manager to fix it and not place it on circulation until certified safe. Furthermore, when I went there last 08.21.21, the young attendants are not even trying to resolve the issue. I even saw them snickering and laughing at me from a far away. They seemed not trained for these transactions. The next day (08.22.21), was better. A different personnel was able to have patience and know how to assist me. But the "glitch" from U-haul reservation system is making the wait like almost an hour.
EU BUhaul did not have the size trailer I ordered and paid for in Larado. And I was not able to contact Uhaul phone rang busy from 4:30to 9:00 on pick day. Next day had to rent a truck and pay my movers overnight stay. This cost me about $1400.00 more than my original price. I am 70 years old and this was the worst CUSTOMER SERVICE in my life. Uhaul failed terribly no call or email before pick up and no way to contact Uhaul when I needed to. I will again never contact you or recommend you
RONALD JWhen picking up unit I was advised my time arrival time affects my return time I picked up unit at 9 but didn’t start loading stuff at 12 if I was told about the time frame I would of chosen a different time this made me get a late fee

Andres PLocation could not fill request for dollies or blankets. Did not call and notify me of missing items.
Connie MSales person was unaware of my original contract for 26' truck. Said I must have hit the wrong button online and ordered a 20' truck. I checked the order receipt when I got home and I did order a 26' truck. Did not have the dollies and blankets I ordered. Did not offer to find them in town for me. But worst of all, did not warn me ahead of time, in the call made to confirm that I was picking up the truck, that my order could not be filled as I placed it. I had to find the dollies, myself, and drive a couple miles to get them. After arranging movers, I could not change my dates. So what should have been one move 1000 miles ended up taking 2 moves. Real bummer! So far, Uhaul has not stepped up to address any of my complaints, even after filing a phone and an email explanation of the problems they caused. (and being told that someone would reach out to me within 48 hours.)
