Please be transparent. I called because I was returning the uhaul a couple hours later than planned. Nobody told me I would be paying a whole extra day. I'm fine with paying more but I would have kept the uhaul overnight to finish moving.

Jim YWhen I got there, I had to take the truck through the gate to go find the tow dolly. The tow dolly was blocked when so I had to move it by hand to put it in a position to hitch to the U-Haul. I hooked it up to the U-Haul without any help in poor lighting. I then had no help putting the car on the tow dolly. After driving, I found the tires on the tow dolly were low and had to make an extra stop on my trip to fill up the tires.
AUSTIN HDo whatever you can to keep the staff. They could not have been nicer or more helpful. They went out of their way to help me look at every option.

Krystal eI needed to use the after hours pickup, so called in advance to make sure I was prepared. The woman who helped me told me that customers don't usually have any problems, but I should call her cell phone if I needed help, and she would help me if I needed anything. She told me I would be receiving a text from u-haul, telling me how to get into my truck. As pickup time approached, I realized that the text hadn't come. I called the cell phone, but no answer; I texted but no response. It took me an extra hour (so I was late for my appointment), but I figured it out: I had no idea that I was going to need to create a new u-haul online account, download the u-haul app, take photos of my driver license, or furnish two reference contacts who u-haul would contact right then (and make me wait while some unknown person tried to contact them). Plus, every time I navigated away from the app (to lookup someone's phone number or what not), it closed my session. Then I had to take another photo of my driver license and back track some. Eventually I was approved and received instructions for accessing the key to my truck, but the instructions were extremely difficult for me to understand. After reading the instructions about 10 times, I was able to figure out the password, and with quite a bit of struggle I opened the lock. Finally, I drove the truck 14 miles round trip with an extremely light load (less than 200 pounds), and then added a couple gallons of fuel (assuming that I probably got at least 8 miles per gallon), and tried to return the truck. However, the app kept crashing, so I took a photo of the dashboard and put the key in the night box. The next morning I received my invoice and was charged $15 for 3 gallons of fuel. I called in, and the woman who checked my truck in told me that it looked to her like the fuel level was below half way when she checked it. I furnished a photo showing that the fuel level was above the half way line (exactly where it was when I first got into the truck) and which also showed the odometer reading. I also furnished a fuel receipt from the Maverick station next door, with the correct date and time. Because I didn't snap a photo of the dashboard before I began driving the truck, she still wouldn't refund the fuel charge. This is absurd. Probably the only thing I could do to convince her is to get the Maverick security camera showing that I put fuel in my truck. As it stands, I picked up the truck after hours, drove it less than 15 miles, dropped it off before they opened the next day, and paid over $110 for this, with almost a full $25 to pay for fuel (the fuel I bought, plus the fuel they charged me for). I haven't used u-haul in more than two decades, because in the early 2000s I rented a u-haul and the brakes went out on us while driving on the freeway in a heavy storm. With that, and other generally bad service overall, I decided to never use u-haul again. However, the location was so perfect for my needs, that I decided to give them another try. Never again! I'll use Penske or Budget, even if I have to pay extra money and drive further out of my way. This never would have happened with them.

Samuel PMy reservation is 930am. I got there around 955am and there's no staff at the front desk, there's one customer in front of me waiting. I think we waited for 10 mins then one staff showed up. I guessed she was busy to take care of some work stuff and did not know there were customer waiting. She helped the customer in front me and the second staff showed up about 2 mins later and helped me. Staff were being very friendly and helpful. It would be better there's a ring or some other ways to get a hold to the staff when they are not available at the front desk. When I got to the uhaul rental. There's a stain, it smelled like animals' urine and it's sticky. It's unpleasant.

Geri OThe mileage was off on the truck, I had to verify and tell the front desk. The blankets were missing and had to call for a refund. No ramp on the truck. I had to call and get a refund for a storage unit that I didn't rent. The front desk wanted to say I wasn't charged, had to prove I was. Seems like a hassle of unorganization at the Lehi location.
JAyme BYou need to give Lehi Indoor Storage more 26' foot trucks. They are my preferred location yet are always out of 26' trucks.
