My reservation was not found in their system. They took pictures of my driver's license (front and back), from their phone. The pieces of equipment that I have requested in the reservation were not in the truck. The truck also was about 1/4 tank. Not enough to reach to my destination. I ended up returning the truck with more gas than needed. A credit should be given/ applied.

When I turned on the van the sensor was reading that 2 tires needed air. 1.19 a Mile is ridiculous and 4.50 a gallon of gas is just wrong.

I rented a 10’ truck tha was priced at $19.95, they charged me for miles, they charged me for fuel ( I refueled before returning the truck) I returned in less than 3 hours and They charged my credit card over $80 , that’s a ripoff, I will never rent from Uhaul anymore, they charge your credit card the amount that they want without your consent.

I reserved a cargo van. I have learned with U-Haul to rent the vehicle a day in advance of the actual date I need it because inventory is limited with dealers and I have had several rental dates in the past where I showed up and a customer hadn’t returned the one 15’ truck or the one 9’ cargo van that I had on hold and had to scramble to find another dealer at the last minute. That had happened at this westar dealer in the past, so I made the reservation for last Friday even though I would only be using the van on Saturday. When I picked up the van from this location, everything went smooth at first. But the LED display in the van showed a message stating “0% oil left - needs changing.” I brought this to the attention of the cashier who handled the transaction. He came outside to look at the message and walked over to the owner / operator of the gas station to tell him what had happened. Without coming over to check, the owner told the employee “this is the only can we have in inventory and it came back from the last rental with no problem. He can take it or leave it.” I was disappointed at the brash manner in which he responded to my concern but I let it go and asked to check the oil before I left, in case they simply hadn’t maintained the vehicle to reset the oil indicator. We popped the hood to check the oil. However, when the employee pulled the dipstick from the oil pan, he did *not* wipe it off and put it back in again to get a true reading, and proclaimed “the oil is full.” Rather than argue at his incorrect reading of the oil pan, I just checked the indicator meter on the dashboard and it seemed to average okay, so I just went on my way: I drove to Home Depot a mile away to get some equipment. When I got back in the van, I noticed that the gas indicator had dipped from an exact half tank to an eight below that, even though I had just left and drove only a mile down the road. I started to drive back to the Westar to tell them about the drop in fuel, and by time I had returned to the westar, the fuel indicator had dropped another eight of a tank. When I showed this to the cashier, I told him “I need a resolve to this now.” The only solution was to bump me up to a 10’ truck rental - a cost I didn’t want to incur, but I reluctantly took as I had already used my time allotted to pick up the rental vehicle and get on to other pressing issues for the day. I asked if he could match the same rate as the rental van but he deflected and passed it over to me to call U-Haul to negotiate. I had no time to do this as I run a busy events production company, so I was stuck with incurring the additional cost in fuel, mileage and rental for a 10’ vehicle I didn’t need. Between the poor attitude of the westar owner, the obstinant response of the cashier and the additional cost in incurred for a vehicle I didn’t want or need

The gearbox must be on its last mile, it takes a while to shift into the next gear and the same with the steering wheel, I could never keep the truck in a straight line because of how much the steering wheel moved. The brakes were very long and made a sound every time I stepped on them. The cabin was dirty, with at least one empty water bottle and a soda cap with gum stuck in it. This place did not have the necessary equipment to be able to use a dolly as simple as it is. First time that I receive a truck like this one in one of your locations. And the guy in charge by the time I returned the vehicle said, that's the best in optimal condition, like they know problems on vehicles and anyway they rent them. Simply a scam what He said. DC 1819 truck. No mentioned the front lights, at least I didn't have to use them.

We return the uhaul after a long 13 hour day and some crazy guy with a dog comes over an yells at us for eating our Chipotle in the corner of the parking lot - since we didn't want to eat that in the truck. Turns out he is the owner of the Uhaul business or manager, and tells us he will move the uhaul truck to one parking stall over to where it needs to be. Very rude, why would you yell at your customers and treat us so poorly? I hope this location goes out of business as they are not professional.

I reserved a van and dollies. All good witg van, but they didnt have even one dolly. And it's not possible to rent out dolly in almost any other location, i checked at least 4. All of them refused to rent out dolly without renting van. But i already rented one!! It so stupjd, I spend so much time on finding a dolly and I couldn' t make it on time to the appointment, had to rent it in other place as a result! It is so inconvenient. :(

After noticing some discrepancies on my last receipt I looked over past receipts and noted that they have been charging me for gas 1/8 of a tank difference, where I have proof at pickup and delivery showing the exact same level of gas. Contacting support for UHAUL is not easy. I suspect the issue is mainly the local operator but Uhaul should keep better care in overseeing the operation on their behalf.

I requested a regular hand truck dolly but was given an appliance hand truck dolly which worked, but due to the weight of it, it made moving furniture harder than it should have been. Besides that my experience was excellent.

Make sure collateral equipment is available at the premises. I was charge $7.00 during the rental for a dolly that wasn’t available and I couldn’t use for the intended purpose. As of now the $7.00 haven’t been reimbursed.

Truck was serviceable but not in great condition, but the real problem was that the tools and blankets that I ordered and which I was I counting on were not available. No hand truck, no dolly and most importantly, no blankets to protect my furniture.

Can was dented and rental clerk was unaware. Back of van had plant debris and potting soil scattered. It should have been sweep. Tail light had water in it. Took a very long time at rental counter.

First time using U-Haul. The app took about 2-3 mins to approve. It should provide an estimate time. One of the U-Haul attendants saw me outside but did not say anything. I could not locate the key pickup. However it was not a bad experience.
