I’ve made a reservation including a platform with wheels and half a dozen of quilts, they didn’t have them. I’ve already hired movers, set a time frame with my new landlord, etc. What I was supposed to do? Re schedule everything because you can not keep your reservations? U-Haul is not a reliable company!!!

JAVON Fthis was a terrible experience. i was doing a favor for UHaul Distribution so I picked up the trailer in the Miami location to trail it (not use it) to Vero Beach. The first trailer they put on the truck didn't work so they had to put another one on. This delayed my Miami departure which then caused me to be stuck in traffic I would have avoided had I been able to leave earlier. Then when I arrived to Vero the location I was told to drop the trailer was a gas station where there was no UHaul representative. And, the gas station employee did not know how to remove the trailer from the truck. By this time I had movers waiting for me at my new storage location that I had paid but I wasn't there so I basically paid them to sit there waiting for me. Finally a UHaul manager over the phone sent me to another location in Vero Beach to drop off the trailer (remember, this is a Distribution trailer I did not use). Once I arrived there, the UHaul employees said they do not accept trailers at that location. They got on the phone of a manager and agreed to accept the trailer as a favor to him but then we could not get it off the truck. So they had to find the maintenance manager of the facility. He had to get tools to remove the trailer. I finally left and was able to go to storage to meet the movers and unload the truck. I had to pay for extra time because UHaul messed up so much. On top of that, while looking through my paperwork, I realized the LIberty 27 Ave location actually charged me for the trailer that was unused by me and part of the distribution program. I returned the truck after I unloaded it back to the gas station assigned. In order to drop off the truck they had to take a picture of my driver's license on their personal cell phone. I found this highly inappropriate that there were no UHaul procedures in place for drop off and to have a stranger with my driver's license on their personal phone. I hope to never have to use UHaul again - it was an awful experience and one that left me feeling like I was taken advantage of.

IVAN NU-Haul saved the day! Had a moving truck reserved at another rental company, six letters, starts w a “B”, and that other company called me the day of the move and said they did not have the truck I reserved and didn’t have any others to substitute. So I reserved a second truck at another one of the “B” company locations but called first and sure enough they didn’t even have the truck I reserved. Terrible way to do business. I needed a one way rental and needed something affordable so I looked online at UHaul, reserved what I needed and had a seamless pick up in Tampa and drop off in Miami. Thank you U-Haul. From now on you get my moving rental business!! And Nichole B was knowledgeable and helpful at the Tampa pick up location. Thanks!! JD

CLAUDIA RMake sure that online reservations dont get dropped or cancelled. It has happened to me that I arrive to pick up a truck and they jave no trucks available. Because of this I avoid online reservations when possible and just call.

ROSA PI had reserved a dolly and some furniture pads . And they weren’t available when I went to pickup. They did offer the utility dolly that I had previously reserved. When I returned the truck, the person receiving it was very rude. I told him so and he calmed down. But he kept doing it to the customers that were coming to leave other trucks too.

DOUGLAS LNo windshield wiper water. Windows were so dirty couldn’t see well. Had to stop at a gas station to clean them and the were still dirty. Need to keep those windows clean and water filled up. This was the 2nd time in a month I had the same issue.

OSCAR Mthey charged me nearly 60 dollars upon arrival when over the phone i scheduled it as 20 dollars on arrival. The van was in poor shape with dents and they made me wait a long time.

Kerry Bthe location is inside a gas station, which is great, however it is a bit small and gets crowded when more than7 people is in there. Friendly staff and great coffee :)
SALLY DI reserved a 15 foot truck and 2 utility dollies and furniture dollies. Upon picking up truck I was informed that the location did not have the dollies. Without the dollies my move was nearly impossible. I would 100% not recommend this location.

With a few clicks, I was able to see my options, take important decisions, and make any changes. When I arrived at the U-Haul location all was ready, saving me time. Plus, everything is in one place on the app your whole team - from the truck company to the moving suppliers, even the movers and the storage unit representatives. You receive access codes, payment information, pickup/drop off dates and times all on the U-Haul app. It is user friendly and the prompts guide you through using icons and buttons that are simple and easy. I highly recommend using the U-Haul app for your next moving project.

ANTHONY GThis establishment and its employees are not friendly. They treat customers poorly, as if they don't want customers asking them for services, and the employees don't give customers proper answers. It's clear that this establishment discriminates against people.
JEFFREY GCommunication was horrible and the reps were very rude. Weren’t helpful at all and got upset at me for asking if the truck was checked for damage before handing key. I was also accused of taking the keys when the rep had actually just misplaced them. Would never ever go back to this facility.

CLAUDIO SIssue : • The side mirror keeps getting misaligned, and I couldn’t see anything on the right. And every time I adjusted it, it would get misaligned again. • The tire is flat, so I can’t read the mileage and it stays like that even after adding air. When I picked up the vehicle, I was supposed to note the mileage on the dashboard, but I couldn’t find it. I realized it had been replaced by a warning message about a low tire pressure. I went back to speak to the staff member, who refused to deal with the issue by replacing the vehicle (even though several were available in the parking lot). He told me it was past 6 a.m., that he could cancel the rental but no replacement… but I had just picked up the truck. Someone did put air back in the tire, but the warning message remained, and the tire was still deflated during my trip. Not secure. On top of that, a charge for fuel level not fair and I got charged $9, but less important than the tire and side mirror. ==> Usually we have no issue but this time was not a good day.

JOSE NThe U-Haul at Liberty 27 Avenue is very convenient. That is a Gas Station, and plenty of parking. I'm a returning customer. At this time I got a new Dodge Van, very clean, it was amazing. I'm very happy with this location.

Fernando TMy reservation was not found in their system. They took pictures of my driver's license (front and back), from their phone. The pieces of equipment that I have requested in the reservation were not in the truck. The truck also was about 1/4 tank. Not enough to reach to my destination. I ended up returning the truck with more gas than needed. A credit should be given/ applied.
