All 4 members of the staff that I met they day of my rental were great! So nice, helpful & having fun together - even with a rather grumpy customer acting foolish. I am thrilled to support local business and I will be back here for tool rental, blade sharpening & future uhaul rentals.

The app is so confusing and not for the average person who just wants to rent a truck. You need to lower your price if you think the customer needs to take all those dumb photos and claims on the truck. The truck drove like it was in first gear the entire time. It sounded like it was going to fall apart. It was snowy and icy and the app wanted to charge me for a cleaning fee. Totally uncalled for! We had the truck for 5 hours and was not responsible for the icy road. This is the 4th time we have rented a truck in the last few months and none of our account information was saved on our account? Was it written by a 4th grader?

Nothing to do with either location but wish there would of been a shorter rental period, instead of having to rent for 24 hrs. I only had the dolly less than 4 hours. I had to pay a full day.

Only 1 employee wore masks. I've already lost a friend to covid-19 and my nephews entire family had covid-19 due to people not respecting the safety of others. I would never have rented if I had known employees were not going to be respectful to the lives of others. Remote check-in did not work on my cell. Took us 35 min to check the truck in from my nephews cell.

The $1 environmental charge for was not disclosed when I rented the truck.. This charge is ridiculous! You guys think you will just slip in a $1 fee and no one will question it. You try to soften the charge by saying " environmental", give me a break!!!! Just another way to nickle and dime the "dumb" customer. What total B.S.

Under COVID 19 conditions truck was very dirty had not been wiped down at all food on floorboard and dash and steering wheel very dirty I picked it up early in morning light so I did not notice till later in day very disappointed in service at this location

Check power outlets on the dash. They are essential when traveling with an electronic map!! All three didn't work!

I am very disappointed with the service we have received during this rental. First, none of your employees are wearing masks according to the Kansas City and Clay County mandates. This is irresponsible. Second, I elected to decline the protective coverage on the Uhaul vehicle multiple times when scheduling online. When my wife arrived, she should have only been required to sign and walk around the vehicle with the attendant, but she was told this was a necessary additional charge due to the weather. She picked up the truck because I could not get off of work that day, and she should not be taken advantage of for this. Third, there is an additional "Sales Item" for $13.00, that is not listed on the contract. I would like clarification on this. Finally, we were charged extra for gas after we dropped off the truck and this is not accurate nor acceptable. The attendant at the desk was unwilling to check in the truck while I was there, then checked it in at a lower amount of gas than was left.

Vehicle was full of animal hair. After I pointed it out and insisted, they tried to vacuum the hair, instead of giving me a different vehicle. I drove from KC to Dallas with animal hair blowing through the cab. With my allergies, it was a miserable trip. I wiped the steering wheel and seats off with a Clorox wipe. The wipe was filthy. They do not clean these vehicles after rental return. With Covid spreading, sanitation should be mandatory, but not at UHaul!

It was very easy to rent a truck online and just go pick it up. No more stuffing things in my SUV. Have rented here twice and will be back. You should take a look around inside at all the super cool things to rent.

Corporate helped find this location which opened at 8:00am. It truly helped as bad weather was moving in. Helpful staff as well as I was not familiar with using the tow dolly for my car. Appreciate their being patient with me — it wasn't easy loading the truck while it rained, sleet, and snowed on me. What a mess after six hours walking on ice. Thank you.

The drop off was terrible at Zisser Tire. Your site shows 24 hour drop off (even today) . When I arrived there was a key drop box but mo where to drop off and a sign that said drop off during business hours only. Waited 40 minutes to speak with a uhaul rep and then had to drive 20 minutes away to drop trailer Was not given a refund or discount or anything . I rent equipment from your company frequently each year and yet get treated like this. Feel free to call me at 815-218-3291

Truck was absolutely filthy on the inside. The dash/cup holders had spilled coffee/pop in them and and a sticky substance all around the dash. I didn't realized this until I put both my phone and wallet in the cup holders and they both came out soaked with a sticky liquid. Before even starting my move, I took the truck home and sprayed down the dash area with cleaner. I was a little shocked that it was rented out this dirty, as I've rented UHAUL's many times before and never had an issue. With all the Covid stuff going on, I think at minimum the dash and steering wheel could have been cleaned.

Lock for lockbox was inoperable and all I was told to do was hit it with a hard object and hope for the best. Took me almost 2 hours and had to end up looking up a YouTube video on how to pick the lock and eventually was able to force it open. Was stuck there in 20 degree weather when I was doing it. Location was extremely poorly maintained and customer service is terrible. I will not be using uhaul ever again unless I have no other choice. I would rather pay someone to help me move even if it ended up being more expensive after this experience. Completely unforgivable and can tell all they care about it collecting your money.

The truck was old, not well maintained; the brakes squeaked, the front end bounced, the rear door was hard to pull down even after WD40 was added by Jacob. When the WD40 was added there was wet concrete left on the floor from wet boots that I had to clean up before I added my items.

Maybe make it possible to change answers when checking out through app. Didn't mean to press yes on furniture pads and was charged $45 for something i didn't even use. very disappointed and will be sharing my experience with others. why put something in the u-haul and NEVER tell your customer they can't use it without being charged. I NEVER EVEN USED THEM.

well I requested the u haul 10 days in advance and was told I would be able to pick up one about 1/4 mile down the street from me. Then they changed the location to about 10 miles away. I drove past the closer location during the whole moving process multiple times and a 20 foot truck was sitting there in the parking lot during my entire move from the evening before we needed the truck to the afternoon after. I found it irksome as we had to pay the extra mileage when a truck was sitting less than a quarter of a mile from my house the whole time. Also I dont have a smart phone and if not for my fiance having one I think your process for checking in and out would be next to impossible.

Truck had dirty windows , lucky i didn't have a long trip , only 5 miles but truck died middle of highway when i pressed brakes. Coming to stop at stop light, had to wait about a min for it to start, also truck needed alignment and and veeres to the right.

The particular trailer that I rented had the pins for the trailer gate so bent that you couldn't open the gate if you wanted. Fortunately I did not need to use the gate.

The customer service here is always courteous and very helpful at this location. I have had to rent from here several now and they have always been very accommodating and able To help me with what ever situation I had. The only thing I could see that would need an improvement is the check in on the phone. And that may just be me having problems with my phone. So excellent people and service here! I would definitely recommend and will be using again!

Everything about the truck and location was top notch. The price on the other hand was way too much for time and milaged used. I think .59 cents a mile for a 4 hour rental costing 19.95 add taxes and fees and it could very well have been a large cargo truck. A 24 hour rental for a truck from budget is 65 dollars. Unlimited miles. And the gas is full when you pick it up not on a 1/4 tank. U hal really needs to rethink the price, did I say the budget truck is loaded? All the bells and whistles. Think about this, you take a tax deduction @ .50cents a mile for each truck or van With the irs. You have your own body shop, but don't fix damages most the time, im driving a 4 wheel billboard.
