There was a fairly long wait for the vehicle - would recommend having staff check in overnight returns prior to opening time. Also, the van that the website allowed me to reserve for 10 am wasn’t even due back until 4 pm. On the plus side, I was provided with a small truck for the same price as the van.

i was charged $34 for fuel after my rental time was over. when i picked up the truck it was between 1/4 and 1/2 full of gas. when i dropped it off it was just under 1/2 full of gas. i should not be charged $34 for fuel to fill up the tank. on top of that i was supposed to be able to pick up my truck rental at 9:00AM and the employee didn’t arrive until 10:00AM and i wasn’t alone as there were several others who were waiting with me from 9:00AM. we also had contracted to rent blankets and a two wheel dolly and i was only able to get the two wheel dolly. i was told i had to drive 25 miles to another U-haul location to pick up the 5 dozen blankets. this is totally unacceptable and set us back by several hours as a result of the late arrival of the employee and having to pick up the blankets at a distant location. then the frosting on the cake was not being told we had to pay tolls for using the truck which shouldn’t have happened and been explained by the u-haul employee at the point of rental so we could make arrangements of some kind. i expect to hear from U-haul and be reimbursed for fuel and toll charges.

I wanted to share my fantastic experience with a recent Uhaul rental. The team was truly exceptional, going above and beyond to assist me throughout the entire process. They were always friendly and answered every call promptly, which was a huge relief during a stressful move. I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the Uhaul itself; it was spotless! Everything was well-maintained and in perfect working order. The whole experience was smooth and efficient. I highly recommend this location!

I rented an auto transport through the U-Haul website and was originally scheduled to pick up the trailer at Everybody Rides in Sebastian, FL. When I arrived at the location, they did not have an auto transport available, and the two they did have could not be rented to me because they required repairs by U-Haul. I was sent to the Specialty Auto Group in Vero Beach, FL, as they had an auto transport available. The young man attached the trailer to my truck and was very helpful. He explained that I would need to return the trailer by 3:00 pm because they close at 3:00 pm on Sundays. I arrived to drop off the trailer at 2:20 pm, and the location was closed. I contacted U-Haul, and a gentleman helped guide me through the U-Haul website to complete a mobile trailer return. Very poor communication between U-Haul, the vendors, and me. Also, when I put my truck in tow mode, my vehicle notified me that the auto transport required several items that required maintenance, which were overdue.

I rented a 26’ truck for 24hrs . I had use of it for 4 hours it broke down , mechanic came out could not fix it . Had to be towed to my residence where we unloaded it and then was towed away . I was not able to complete my move . I have tried for the last couple of days to get a reasonable compensation and resolution . I am very unhappy with Uahaul and will not be recommending them to anyone for the lack of service I have received . I should be getting a full refund or 75% refund and use of a smaller truck for free for a half day to finish my move . I would like someone from cooperate to reach out to me or u will be reporting this to the better business bureau and anywhere else along with online reviews .

I was feel I was overcharged for cleaning and late fee. There was a plastic cup and a small amount of trash in the back of the truck when we received it. The visor didn’t fit and repeatedly dropped down. The vehicle was returned with much more gas than when we started. The contract said quarter of a tank, but it was only 1/8th tank. It was well over 1/2 tank upon return. We returned the vehicle at 2:45 PM. We had scheduled the vehicle until 4 pm, and were advised that the office was open until 3pm. Thus we were not after hours and we handed the key to the attendant. He told us that we only needed to check in online if we were after hours. We transferred only two almost new couches, so cleaning fee is BS. In short, we feel this was a complete ripoff. We will take our business elsewhere in the future and advise our friends to do likewise.

This was an absolutely awful experience. You gave me a vehicle that was not safe to be on the road. The A/C stopped working 30 minutes into my 600 mile trip across Florida and Georgia, on a 90 plus degree day. The seats did not move, the driver door did not close properly, the weather stripping across the windshield was flapping in the wind. You should be fucking ashamed of yourselves for putting a well paying customer in a truck that should not be in your fleet of vehicles. I am considering taking legal action against you and this company.

Overcharged by poor control of car hauler assets. Gave away my car hauler resulting in loss of discount, having to go to Palm Bay. Delayed departure, additional miles $, Additional contract and $545 charge, hours of phone calls trying to rectify. I am not happy. An initial $1320 quote has turned into $2100 charges. Fix it and refund all my overcharges! I do not trust UHaul any longer.

This location is absolutely the best in Vero. I've rented from them before and I will keep coming back. I use U-Haul when I need to do something for my side hussle.. Other places are not like this. The facility itself is clean, and the service is prompt and efficient. The representative I dealt with was a guy named Christian. He was very polite and pleasant to deal with. Kudos to him for representing this location.

I was misled and overcharged in what turned out to be a deceptive rental transaction. I only needed the vehicle for two days on a one-way drop-off, and I made this clear from the beginning. When I questioned the high five-day charge, the agent assured me multiple times that I would only be billed for the actual days used and that the rate would be adjusted upon drop-off. I specifically told him that if I had to pay for five full days, I would prefer to drive it myself rather than pay such a high transport fee. He reassured me that the five-day charge was only temporary and would be corrected at drop-off. I even told him it wasn’t in the contract, but he insisted this was standard procedure. However, upon drop-off, I was charged for all five days. When I called to dispute the charge, the agent’s supervisor got on the phone and dismissed my concerns, telling me I should have read the contract—completely disregarding what their own employee told me. I never agreed to a five-day rental and would not have accepted it had I known this was the case. This was a dishonest upsell and a bait-and-switch tactic, followed by blaming the customer to cover themselves. It felt like robbery disguised as a rental agreement.

The Engine light was on. When I returned the truck, I mentioned that the engine light was on, and they said that they did notice that last week. I asked them...why did you rent me this truck? The person said, were you able to move your items? End of conversation... The Young man who I saw when i initially rented the truck was very kind.
