Honestly I’d recommend another company since uhaul always takes your money immediately and refunds you for early return on their sweet time.
ALISHA FAlthough store hours said they were open, no one was there and the drop box was not clearly labeled. so i dropped off the keys in the closes mailbox to their front door.

JAMES HThe U Haul Sales representative was very knowledgeable and friendly. Personally connected the car trailer and verified that all equipment was working properly. I initially reserved the trailer at another location, on Marine Blvd, and that employee was not helpful at all, telling me that she would be fired for letting me rent the trailer. The trailer that I had reserved on the phone earlier. It was a mess and none of it made any sense. We ultimately ended up at the Hargett St location and the service we received was fantastic. I cannot remember his name but he saved us a ton of time and frustration.

JAMES HChanged truck location last minute to this facility which was much further away. Website showed trucks were available at original location. Very misleading. Added about 15 extra miles and at 89 cents a mile cost us an extra $13. Truck was dirty. Had dirt all over the floor and there was random Ranch packets on the dashboard.
BLAKE SI had a horrible experience because I rented a U-Haul in postal annex 391 Carolina Forest Blvd Ste 200 Jacksonville, NC 28546. I was supposed to get the uhaul there but when i got there they didn’t have the uhaul, any customer with easily get mad at this situation.

JoAnn KThe U-Haul trailer I had reserved did not have a working blinker upon inspection to haul it. I had to then use a smaller container. The staff was helpful and accommodating but this means I have to do another means of moving on a separate date because I couldn’t fit all I needed in the smaller container. Maybe they should inspect the gear ahead of time to mark if a product is truly available or not.

JOSHUA GNot charge for extra gas
MARVIN BI was overcharged due to uhaul not being able to provide single location pickup. I stead of the 1500.00 in the original reservation, I was charged over 1800.00. I was told this was because of the split pickup, which was not my choice but I suffered for it. Also the truck was underwhelming g. Terrible fuel usage, no cruise control which was not good on a 1250 mile trip. Also no Bluetooth connectivity, only a connection for Apple phones, c'mon UHAUL, it's 2024.
WILLIAM TI was initially sent to a second location to pick up the trailer at 9:30. But the location did not open until 1:00pm. It was a royal pain!

BENAI DWhen we return the U-Haul, we had just put gas in filled up the U-Haul and the guy tried telling us that we owed $10 and gas when we literally just filled it up and the needle to the gas tank was all the way f for filled up

FRED LWhen I lifted the back door up, about six to ten roaches started scrambling. I had to find and exterminate them before I could load my property into the cab.

MAXIMUS SThe vehicle was dirty inside and smelled and a persons wallet was on the dashboard. So clearly the vehicle had not undergone thorough check.

Vaughn MNear the bases of Jacksonville, I started the return on line and immediately an attendant came out. He took over the unhitching and waved me on our way! Very efficiently and easy to find.
Rosemary MThe 26 ft truck had the right windshield wiper missing. Luckily it didn't rain on my trip. Also, thecab smelled like a someone just smoked a pack of cigarettes. I had to buy disinfectant wipes and wipe down the entire cab and get some air fresheners for my 5 hr drive. The blankets also smelled like smoke.

Vachel LI took pictures in my phone to show that the last person who rented the truck I rented wasn't clean in the driver's and passenger side , there was coffee spills spots on the caddy . The bed of the truck wasn't swept out . My. son , Timothy swept the bed part out for me . I have pictures in my phone from March 4, 2024. When I tried to upload them my uhaul app went off of my phone . The windshield wiper are extremely loud ,but they worked in the rain .

CHRISTOPHER NNot a great location. These guys didn’t check our truck in when we dropped it off (an hour early) and proceeded to wait until later that night resulting in an extra day charge. Totally not acceptable!
