Excellent friendly service and very helpful regarding any issues I had to help and accommodate my needs. I would recommend this location to anyone and also recommend the extra road side assistance to everyone as they too were amazing helping out when unexpected things took place and took very good care of me. Good experience overall other than glitch with pick up location. Booked 6 weeks in advance for local pick up in Hamilton. 2 days prior to reservation received notice from uHaul that I would have to pick up the vehicle an hour away in Simcoe - definitely a giant speed bump in our already hectic moving plans. We made it work, and the rest of the rental experience was smooth sailing. The truck was in good condition and had no mechanical issues.Allen W.

I had to drive 45 mins away from where I lived to pick up the truck, then drive 40 mins (the drop off location in this review was not where I had to drop off the truck) away from where I moved to drop off the truck. Originally rented for Renton,On. Rental was adjusted by uhaul for Simcoe, our rental printout stated 9am pickup but the location did not open until 10 so we had to wait around for an hour. Staff at the discount store was very nice but busy and there was no assistance on how to hook up trailer provided. Will return if needed because the employee was very friendly and tried to help and we like to support our local businesses.Brian R.

The inside of the cab of the truck was dirty/muddy. The cargo area was clean. The lady we dealt with at this location was lovely and efficient. Unfortunately our experience with uhaul leading up to picking up the truck was HORRIBLE. The day before pickup we were told we would need to drive to simcoe to get the truck (we had scheduled to pick up near our house in Hamilton) We had it scheduled for 6 days and were told we could only have it for 4.Elizabeth P.

This was my second and last time using U-Haul. I ended up being charged $368.65 for a truck that was filthy and unswept. I had to spend the first thirty minutes cleaning the cab of nasty, sticky stuff.Keith S.

Well the entire process was disappointing from beginning to end. I could not rent the right size truck at a convenient time of the day. I was not given all pertinent information required upon picking up the truck on Culver St. in Simcoe, Ontario, Canada I dropped off the truck on time and put the keys in the drop box but when I got home noticed a text giving me drop off instructions which I could not return and do in a dark parking lot in a bad neighborhood at 11:00pm ( I am a 56 year old woman) Sept. 2nd I received a text saying that I owe an extra $50.74 for extra mileage. I paid it the same day. The following day I received an email saying that I owe you another $80.74 but with no explanation as to why. I am not impressed and will not be giving you a good review. Also, you should clean the vehicle before renting it to the next person, mine had used Kleenex, & gas receipts in the cup holders. Everyone at location was great, equipment was also great. The reps on the phone however we're not pleasant to deal with, very long hold times too. I called to see if we could extend our rental First Lady I spoke to was very helpful she said I had to call the service line, the second lady who answered was almost rude from the beginning, after saying I was told to speak with her department for help she said I doubt that, then when I asked to extend she says no there's nothing I can do. I understand that the trucks get booked but in customer service you should try to offer other solutions to your customers, she did not. Trailer was dirty when I picked it up. We had to sweep it out at home before loading it. Looks like it had been used to haul landscaping material. Overall very disappointed that my reservation was changed to a larger trailer and that my pickup location was moved to a store that was one hour away from my home.James M.
