When I returned the car dolly I rented and explained to 3 different people my issues 2 of which didn't know how to handle it and the manager completely dismissed me. The ratchet on the dolly was broken, so I couldn't use it. It had no rubber stoppers on the chains. The wire which has replaced the chains on the dolly to the truck was falling apart and the other ratchet was so badly rusted it did not want to turn when ratcheting it up. I have been using U-Haul for many years and this was the second time I was not happy with the service or the end result. The first time I rented a truck and when I got in there was garbage everywhere. I took a picture and showed the person who I was dealing with, he too just dismissed it and said something like it must have just came back and he hasn't seen it yet. I have gone to other locations and I for surely will if I have to use U-Haul again. They could have apologized or even care enough to ask how it went or something to that effect. I'm sure this will be deleted but thank you for letting me vent. Robert Elliott
ROBERT EI rented the auto transport. The overall condition was accepted. The ratcheting tie down assembly was quite difficult to use. I understand Canada's winters are hard on metal components, but some penetrative oil would have helped a lot.
Tim KVan hadn't been cleaned. Was low on windshield washer fluid.
