This was the second time I used your services within a couple of months and the only reason I went back to this location was I needed a car dolly right away but I did hope the issues from last time would have been fixed. The strap latch on the dolly was broken just like last time. Nothing was done last time and so I didn't even bother to mention it this time. If I wasn't experienced with car dollies this would be a major issue. Please have your locations repair items as they come back and do not ignore the customers. Tha k you

SAMPSON TWhen I returned the car dolly I rented and explained to 3 different people my issues 2 of which didn't know how to handle it and the manager completely dismissed me. The ratchet on the dolly was broken, so I couldn't use it. It had no rubber stoppers on the chains. The wire which has replaced the chains on the dolly to the truck was falling apart and the other ratchet was so badly rusted it did not want to turn when ratcheting it up. I have been using U-Haul for many years and this was the second time I was not happy with the service or the end result. The first time I rented a truck and when I got in there was garbage everywhere. I took a picture and showed the person who I was dealing with, he too just dismissed it and said something like it must have just came back and he hasn't seen it yet. I have gone to other locations and I for surely will if I have to use U-Haul again. They could have apologized or even care enough to ask how it went or something to that effect. I'm sure this will be deleted but thank you for letting me vent. Robert Elliott
ROBERT EI rented the auto transport. The overall condition was accepted. The ratcheting tie down assembly was quite difficult to use. I understand Canada's winters are hard on metal components, but some penetrative oil would have helped a lot.

Michael AThe tongue weight on the 6x12 enclosed trailer is very heavy. It must be nearly 100 lbs. A tongue jack would be an excellent idea. Otherwise, the trailer was excellent.

CARL CBrand new Ford van was excellent in driving. Seats were not totally adjustable because divider did not allow enuf room for back of seat to move. Dome lite and interior lites came on and off sporadically. Needs to be looked after. Could be loose wire or connection.
NANCY MMy uhaul truck wasn’t available to me thst I booked a month previous and checked up on a week prior the night I picked up my uhaul for moving the next day it wasn’t available and I. Ever received a phone call from uhaul or from Simcoe Discounts very disappointed in Uhaul 2 nd time this has happened to me once from Simcoe Conveince Store now from Simcoe Discounts I won’t deal with them again

TAMARA LWhen you allow a customer to schedule a pick-up, the equipment should be available that the scheduled location. Allowing the reservation, then calling to ask them to drive 20 minutes out of the way is annoying. I almost cancelled.

Also trying to lock the the hitch onto the ball was very difficult and don't think it was even connected properly cause there was a lot of play but luckily it was locked in enough..I didn't even use it as we were scammed
Robert Ni was very disappointed,,, i ordered moving blankets however there were none... this meant all the pictures and more fragile items i was unable to move... i now have to make a number of trips to Toronto in my car to move the rest of my items
David SEquipment maintenance issue: Tire pressure very low on right side. (20 lbs) Had to go to gas station to inflate. Hitch tightening nut very rusted. l lubricated it with WD40 to allow it to tighten / loosen properly. One safety chain rubber safety piece missing. I removed one from another trailer and used it for safety chain.

Tyler dI rented 24 blankets but only used 12 as we had some from a previous move which we purchased. Its unfortunate but I understand that a rebate could not be applied. Overall the process was great including the staff at the store. I have rented previously and will rent again from this location!

LISA WMaybe add a dolly to them if they are planning. To be dropped back in simcoe location.. :)) We cleaned truck from out drop off location and still got charged the fee… $300 was a lot when I brought home a bought from way past Waterloo to simcoe…

Peter BThe self check in system is flawed. It made the whole experience an absolute headache. After being denied my truck through the service I had to wait for the location to open making me late and very frustrated. I've never had a problem with it before. Then in the mix of the lovely lady at the counter, she ended up giving me the wrong truck slowing me down further

James LThis location was struggling with the rental software on their in-store computer as well as their cell phones. Transaction did not go smoothly. When I dropped the trailer off, I was not asked what form of payment I had used to pay for the rental and ended up leaving without the deposit being transferred back onto my debit card. I was 15 minutes away when I received a phone call asking me to return to the store to have the deposit put back onto my debit card.
Eric MThe U-Haul system its self was terrible- multiple attempts to process. In 2024 you’d think the electronic processing would be seamless since i did 99% online when reserving the truck.
