Definitely by far the easiest and best uhaul check in/check out I have ever went through in my life!!!
TRISTA AThere was an apple airtag in the cab.
Nathaniel Gliquor store in the edge of town. No indication of where to park the truck so I just backed in and left it there. Fellow that checked me in was fine. Weird location, though.
DONALD HI didn’t get the U-Haul on time it’s pushed back all my plans for the day. Also when I was returning the truck the guy who was checking me out tried charging me over $200 because he put the wrong information on how much gas was in truck and changed how many miles I brought it back so one I told him that not correct and made him go look at the truck again he changed it. Which was very frustrating because he knew he was wrong. I have no problem with U-Haul I got plenty of stuff from there but the location was awful.
Adriana RI don't even know where to start. If someone from this dept wants to call me, it would be easier.
Jennifer BEverything went so smooth, very good experience.Thank you.
tim gMy whole experience with Uhaul from the beginning was frustrating and disappointing. I have used Uhaul for years and i dont think i will next time. My initial reservation was to pick up at Shasta Valley Tire in Montague Ca. I don't belive they know what there doing. They are not open on weekends and blame everything on Uhaul. Then last minute Uhaul changed reservation to Weed 30 miles further south in the wrong direction. The truck was dirty inside the cab the back was severely covered in dust and the pull out ramp had broken glass on it. I was not happy at all with the cleanliness and lack of personal customer service Uhaul use to have. Now everything is done on an app and text message.
DAWN GThese guys barely spoke English and at the end when in my return they tried to scam me. My return was to the same place but they charged me $250 extra saying I was supposed to return somewhere else.
Veronica FThis person should not have an U-haul location. He did NOT know how to do anything. He was unable to hook up is car onto the tire. He was very uneducated in how U-haul works. He had not checked our fluid levels on the U-haul. We overheated, in the desert! It made the last leg of our trip very long and uncomfortable. Not to mention several other water hours waiting for the tow truck. In my opinion, just because someone says they want to run a U-haul pickup rental place, doesn't mean you should always allow them to. I believe you should NOT allow this location to rent and definitely not help anyone with u-hauls any longer. He's going to get someone seriously injured!!!
Stacey KOwner of this location was very rude. Our uhaul that we had scheduled was switched to a town over an hour away. He flat out refused to rent us the 10ft truck he had, even though it wasn't scheduled to be picked up for two days. I spoke to a nice lady (can't remember her name) through customer service and she called and got us that uhaul so we could actually move. I will not go back to this location because of the owner but will still rent uhauls in the future from other locations.
Anthony JThe guy at the liquor store counter is rude, gave no receipt or paperwork, just said "ok" and waved me out the door to go find and hook up myself. The wiring on the trailer was broke, pins broken off, so I had no turn signal and only one brake light. He didn't care. Returning it was a little better, but still very unhelpful.
James RThe price was very expensive. The guy at the “desk” didn’t know what bubble wrap was when another person came in to ask if they carried it. And he told me if I returned it early I would get a partial refund even though it was a one way rental, which obviously ended up being false. The truck was also dirty, and had not been swept out.
Brianna MI called and was quoted $40 out the door. When we got there he said $40. My card was charged 56.43. He told me the remaining of it would be returned to my card. We had the trailer for about an hour and a half total. I don’t mind paying it just upsets me that I was quoted wrong and charged
Brendal NWhen I booked the u-haul, I selected my dropoff location as Mt. Shasta CA. I got a text the next day that I would need to drop my u-haul off in Redding, CA which is an hour away from Mt. Shasta. I let u-haul know this. So, they said they would find me another location and came up with Corning, CA which is even further away from Mt. Shasta. After several phone calls and chat messages across Sat and Sun, they came up with the Liquor Warehouse in Weed, CA. Their address, however, in the u-haul computer shows as Corning CA (maybe that is the headquarters??). I was able to drop the truck in Weed, but it was quite a bad experience dealing with the team as every time I called (probably 3 times), nobody was able to pick up where the previous team left off and all of them said to drop off in Corning until I finally got the right person who helped me.
SHAWN MEfficient.

Matthew WThe man I rented the U-haul from either spoke no English or pretended not to. He only answered me with head movements when asked questions. I told him that I needed to drop off the U-haul at a seperate location twice. Both times I got a head nod (Yes). I told him I needed to rent a utility dolly to which I got a head shake (No). The receipt he emailed to me was so not readable and I almost delivered the truck to the wrong drop off spot, but thought I better call the U-Haul customer service number to make sure. Glad I did because The man I rented the truck from charged me for a in town move, and apparently I could of been charged a big fee for dropping it off at the wrong spot. The man I spoke with on the phone names Jay was very helpful, and got me in touch with our local traffic department. The lady I spoke with on the phone to get my drop off destination changed was also very helpful and polite. The guy at the Liquor Warehouse pick up location dosn't care about his customers and does a horrible job at renting trucks out.
James OThe person working the location, did not really speak to me, and when i he did i couldn’t understand what he was saying the person was rude we walked out of the door to look at the truck at the same time and he let the door close and hit me in the face while i was walking out
Timothy JThe store was completely unfriendly and barely spoke English. They stated on the contract that the truck was at 15/16 on fuel when it was only barley at 3/4 of a tank and when I returned the truck I filled it over 3/4 of a tank and told the store associate and he said it would be fine. Then charged me additional fees for only having filled the truck back up to 3/4 of a tank.
cody sOverall, very easy going place! I would rent a U-Haul from this place again!
Marc OThe gentleman was courteous and helpful
Kevin RIt was convenient- glad they have this location. Worker was ok but not super friendly.
TAMARA IGentleman at the counter did not speak much English, made no attempt to be helpful, claimed "Computer broken. Call company." NO drop box for keys. The person I spoke to on the phone was a LOT more helpful.
JANET ABe more upfront and transparent with total costs. Fees, taxes should be noted online before picking up truck.
Jolynn ASame, app cut out half way, and wasn’t able to submit the picture of the truck. A lot of calling that doesn’t seem necessary if app was working. Had a better setup/ interface.
Lucas SNo one spoke english. Never got paper work. When I returned the truck we had to wait 20 minutes for someone that spoke english. They never showed up. Had to come back later to get my money and still nobody spoke english. I would never rent from this location again.
dave bi was charged an extra $21.50 without my knowledge on my credit card when the rental was returned within the terms of the contract and per the instructions of Uhaul. I and others concider this to be credit card fraud and/or theft and I am disputing the charges
Glen DHonestly irritated that in my online reservation, it said I could drop the uhaul off in Mount Shasta, but ended up having to drop it off in Weed. This discrepancy took me over the 72 mile limit, and I was upset thinking I would be charged an additional day for 4 extra miles. I'm glad I wasn't
Jasper RGot my drip off location changed from mnt Shasta to this location. Was supposed to be a mobile drop off but come to find out upon drop off they didn't have a drop box for the keys. Added an hour and a half drive and another almost 100 miles on my car all due to uhals mistake not just once with overlooking mnt Shasta drop off but then a second time with no drop box and waiting almost am hour to find out there wasn't a drop box and that I had to drive back home and back to the drop off location while it was non stop snowy weather. Very very disappointed. I feel I am owed compensation for the extra miles time and danger to my family from driving in the snow all due to uhals mistakes.
Joshua DThese 2 guys had absolutely Zero customer service skills. Not friendly and completely aloof, could barely speak English that I could understand, and completed all transactions in silence. They acted like they absolutely hated to deal with their own business. Please about this place, they suck
Susan KThis is my forth time to drop off at this location, they have been fast and curtius each time.
John ETo improve they will need to give accurate information on the phone, clean out the vehicle after previous rental (food containers, trash, broken items left in the back), and treat customers as if you actually want their business.
Daniel TMy reservation was screwed up so many times, I lost track. Then the AUTISTIC guy at the destination would not answer my questions and tried to charge me extra for delivering truck and trailer to the SAME LOCATION!!!
TERESA RPick up was at a non-gas station convenience store; Clerk spoke poor English and worse, clearly did not want to answer questions. If it was not for the tow truck Driver that brought my dead car (hit a deer that killed my car and made it undriveable), I would have never been able to load my car onto the trailer. When I asked the convenience store clerk how to get my car onto the trailer,....he basically indicated "not my problem". I tipped the tow truck driver $20 after he helped get the car onto the trailer and secured the car's front wheels with the safety straps. Conclusion: I will never rent a U-Haul from a location that won't help....best to rent a U-Haul from a real U-Haul site vs. a site where the U-Haul is "parked". And the gas tank was not full, although the form said the tank was full. Very dishonest !!
Linda DThe proprietors were absolutely clueless about the check in, check out process. Terrible communications. Will not use this location again.
Forrest LTwo problems with the drop off. The first was that the person at the drop off was having a hard time with the computer program. The second, I received an invoice after dropping off the trailer for $118.26 for "Wrong Drop Off". In my initial registration there was no drop off location. When I asked the person helping me at the pick-up location, he told me I could drop the trailer off at the Uhaul drop off location nearest me. Then I received an email stating my drop off location was in Redding, CA, 75 miles away from where I live. I responded to the email that I had never agreed to drop the trailer off in Redding, as this would be a 150 mile round trip. So I do not understand why I was charged $118.26.
Anthony GWorker did not say more than 3 words to me and charged my card $90 after I dropped off the truck when I already paid for the use of my trailer
Charolette KEmployee did not give us paperwork, did not know how to rent the equipment. He did not do a walk around or hook up the equipment. He did not speak English. I was overcharged for the trailer rental. I dropped the trailer off in La Pine OR on 3/1/22 and was charged extra on 3/7/22 claiming the trailer was dropped off on 3/6/22. I would like this resolved as soon as possible.
DUANE SIt was great! Super easy. We were well taken care of
KATHLEEN MTell people that the mileage they are charged is added onto the rate as well as a gas charge, why am I paying to add miles if I have to pay to use gas too. Makes zero sense.
Nathaniel gTheir system was down and no offer to help me. Thankful for I had the regional phone number and was able to contact them to get the truck. The clerk wasn't helpful at all.
Robert SThe guy was nice it just took a long time he entered the same information that they took when I reserved it the interior of the truck was dirty
David CDirty drunk scary Indians , barely spoke English ... disgusting!!!
Christian HGreat experience....
Anne MThe uhaul itself was gross and filthy. It had ends of blunts all in the trailer, the cab and trailer were both filled with dirt. The people at the pick up itself were rude and super unprofessional. Horrible experience and I’m thankful I’ll never have to rent a U-Haul from this location again.
hannah sThis location charged me a cleaning fee for a trailer that looked dirty, but was in the same condition as when I picked it up!!! The employee did not advise me that a fee would be charged, just said, "you're good to go". Only when I looked at my receipt could I see that a fee was charged. I would appreciate the chance to provide video proof of the trailer's condition when I picked it up and when I dropped it off. Unfortunately the wait time for customer service never seems to be below 20 minutes... Thank you, Miles
MILES DThey had terrible customer service and I wasn’t originally planning to go there. I felt sexually harassed by the clerk and it left the whole experience bad.
ANGELINA ILocation would not allow me to park my personal vehicle overnight despite the fact I was moving alone and had no way to shuttle my vehicle.
Katelyn SThe gentleman at the Liquor Warehouse drop off point gave outstanding customer service!!
JOHN ESending a letter to corporate about the truck and rental facility.
Lesley BThis place did not have dollies or furniture pads. The person running the place just laughed at me.
Steve Cfix the mobile app. doesn't work for me. can't find location.
jonathan gMove computer closer to register area.
Pamela PDuring drop off, no inspection of returned equipment was done (it was in great shape) . Counter person could not issue any paperwork or email.. said "man that does UHaul is not here".
Ron EThe trailer was full of dirt and debris. The representative did not offer to clean it or hook it up. I had to hook it up myself with no direction. A signal light was out on the right-hand side of the trailer and the representative said, "that's fine, just don't get pulled over." This was after I had already driven an hour to my original rental location and they were not able to rent to me because it was a one-way rental and they were not allowed to rent it out for one-way. Why was this given to me as an option, then? This was a very unsatisfactory experience overall.
