They charged me 2 gallons of gas when I shouldn’t have owed any since I filled it up more than what I got it at
CHRISTIAN BI was first told to pick truck and utility dolly at the 6th Avenue store in Decatur, the day before pick up I receive a email stating there has been a change. To pick up equipment at The Little Giant Smoke Shop. No one answered the number that was supplied for the store so I had to make a trip over there just to make sure my reservation was still good. I had paid for a utility dolly but none was in truck, I wasn’t pleased because we had heavy lifting of boxes.
Dorris hU-Haul as a company is difficult to work with, but this specific location is an exception. Since I booked my reservation over the phone, I had to go through U-Haul directly instead of the location. Despite that, the staff at this location provided the best service possible under the circumstances..

MOHAMMED FNot understanding why I got charged a clean fee when all I did was haul my motorcycle which didn't or wasn't leaking oil and when I unloaded my bike it was clean.....better make sure they come out and inspect in front of you or you will get charged 25.00 like the 700.00 I paid to rent wasn't enough you all suck balls I know truck was clean
TIMOTHY TThere was a bag with pills on the floor. But the complaint I have is that they charged me for fuel and I put more in than I used. I even showed the guy the receipt when I returned it. Put 3 gals in and drove the truck 16 miles. Can’t reach anyone to dispute the fuel. This was the second location I went to that morning because the first one cancelled my reservation when I was 30 mins late. The person won’t answer the phone and nobody spoke English. Even at this location we had to wait for someone to answer the phone - prob same smoke shop owners. Nevertheless I paid my helpers for 2 hours before I could even get the truck and start loading even though I had a reservation. The smoke shop really gives U-Haul a poor image.
JARED RVery easy to return, again this was the easiest return I ever had in over 17 years of renting U-Haul equipment.
BARBARA FLocation should be able to make recommendation for alternative trucks when the reserved truck does not get returned on time. We showed up and our reserved truck was not there and we were not given any options even though the location had a bigger truck in the parking lot. We were not notified before our reserved time of this problem, and we were left in a jam. We reserved several months out to avoid any issues and yet we experienced a nightmare. After calling U-Haul we were provided with the bigger truck that was in the location’s parking lot. Not sure why the location could not provide that assistance.
DEWAYNE MUsing the App to do the pick up is not very fast. Had a 730 pick up and by the time I was done. It was after 8:15. Plus there equipment I reserved with the truck was not there.

holland cI did not receive an invoice, had any information that was on invoice explained to me & no walk around equipment check. I talked to someone on the phone & was give a key for truck.
herb tMy rental experience had a bad start but ended fine. My pickup location changed three times. The third store owner had the van but didn't know how to process the rental. I had to call another location to see if they could help. I was fighting a deadline to get my things moved, so the delays were frustrating me. Finally Joshua Troup Ward showed up and saved the day. He calmly got the rental transaction processed and got me on the road. The van was perfect for my needs.

Michael HThey do not carry utility dollys but I was charged for one , I called the 1800 number Before leaving with truck and she said I was refunded however I was still charged the person at store when I brought truck back had no idea how to help
Katherine JTruck was filthy when I picked it up! I swept it out after use and was charged a cleaning fee. Had I known I was going to be charged for someone else's trash I wouldn't have made the effort to sweep it . I've always been taught leave it better than you found it and it cost me this time.
