Everything went smoothly with our rental! We were able to pick it up from the employee easily - he was very friendly and helpful. Loading and unloading went smoothly and we were able to return it much earlier than expected. Again, the employee was helpful and provided all the information about the final billing for us and we were on our way shortly after. This was my first time renting a vehicle like this and I'm happy with the choice to go with UHAUL.

Linda M.The van was clean, and the check in and out process was smooth; however, I was told that I could not park on the property because since it was not a primary U-Haul location, parking was reserved for customers who are using the storage facility, therefore, I would not be able to park my care on site. I had the option to either park my car in the residential areas or at the gas station, neither of which I felt fully comfortable with, for fear of being towed. Although the agent stated that no one had had issues before, it is still something that I wish I knew ahead of time, because I would have chosen another location.

David L.Regretfully, the rented van cargo area was dirty, including dirt and rat droppings and the outside needed to be washed. due to filthy windows. I cleaned the interior front and back and washed it so I would not be held responsible for its previous condition. Besides that it was a great vehicle, plenty of power to haul a cargo and a GREAT A/C to keep driver/passenger comfortable.

PAMELA I.There is no parking for UHaul customers. I was told to park at a gas station or park a block away. UHaul locations need parking, not expect customers to walk across busy streets and major intersections because the location has no parking assigned for UHaul customers, only their other storage unit customers.
ROBERT B.Sooo...we got a seemingly good uhaul truck and drove to Bend OR in one day on 6/1/2021. A long day of driving and all was well. We parked truck in the driveway and the next morning off-loaded the rest of the items. But overnight a gas leak had developed and was streaming out from underneath. When we drove it to the Bend location the person who check me in said the gas leak was a patch job that had deteriorated and was "sketchy" for us to be driving it. I have to rate the Placentia location as "Poor" because they should have known there was a patch job and warned us or taken the truck off-line. My partner and I, in retrospect, felt endangered or at the minimum we might have had to call UHaul for another truck from the road. Thankfully these things did not happen.

Christina R.Fix the design flaw for the gas tank on the truck I used. Putting in gas caused the gasoline to bubble up and shut off excessively. It's dangerous.
Caroline D.When I received the blankets they were not folded. I even had to go back and ask for all the items I rented. The next day I get a call saying the blankets aren't folded it will be an extra $25. Don't go to this location it is the actual worst.
Elysse V.Arrive at the location at 9AM and the office was closed. Guy arrived at 9:30AM and I asked what time are they supposed to open. He said annoyingly that he had to drive all the way from San Bernardve a ino. I didn't say anything and asked myself why should that be my problem. I told him I have a reservation and he responded "reservation for what?" Needless to say the guy hates his job and extremely rude. He's oblivious to the meaning of customer service. Customers pay for his salary and he should move on to another job that he'll more interested. I'm not going back to this location again.

Randy E.I had to wait over an hour for the place to open. They were suppose to open at 9 instead someone didn't show up till 1015. I don't have time to waste sitting around for people when it's their job to be on time. If I was late I would have been charged an extra day. It's only fair I'm reimbursed for my troubles.
