Extremely difficult to find location. After numerous phones calls trying to locate turns out it's in a back alley, behind a building, no signage from street. One alley entrance totally blocked with homeless shelters. Had to go around to another alley, also extremely tight to get truck down alley, also partially blocked . Not a good area of town.Paul W.

I turned the van back in and the clerk said it was due the day before but I extended it to the 12th and the location called and verified. Then I look at my bank account and see I was charged a weekly fee of $330 and an extra day at $89 instead of a daily $19.99 fee that I signed the contract for. Also the miles she logged in was 400 more than we drove. This was supposed to be a $300 weekly rental and I was charge $647. I was on hold for an hour waiting for a representative and couldn't get through.Kellie T.

The area is bad/sketchy, but the building is awesome and the staff was great. The truck was not swept out, so we had to sweep out rocks and rand before loading in our belongings. The new Van was great though - much better than the older style.Mark B.

My service at 1430 E. Anaheim was great!! However I started off at the Pacific coast highway location and there service was absolutely terrible and a waste of time. They definitely need training in customer service and additional training with there overall job skills. The facility manager Mariana Ponce did an awesome job helping me. This is the worst looking location ever. The hours say they close at 6pm but they actually close at 5:45. So you have to arrive by 4:30 to actually get helped. A lot of people just hanging out. We walked in and waited for quite a while before seeing anyone. Finally one guy came out from the back and went to get someone else. The guy he brought out wasn't logged in, so he couldn't help us, and the woman who came out to tell him that just said, â€œthey're gonna have to wait for me.â€ Then she disappeared again.more waiting, then the guy came back and was able to check us out. He was very helpful and very kind/respectful. The woman had horrible customer service skills, and was pretty much just rude.Angela M.

The woman I dealt with at this location was so unbelievably rude & dismissive when I returned the cargo van I rented. She was just as sweet as punch in the morning when I picked it up & informed her that I may be a bit late with my return but when I was late with my return...WOW!!! When I return the van. There was a man(manager) who was very rude an a complete ass to me an his co-worker. The young guy who was trying to check me out couldn't figure out what was going on when I check out online for the van. The manager was rude saying â€œwhy are you doing this when it's suppose to be like another wayâ€. But the manager didn't give the young guy a chance to explain. The manager should have not treated his coworker like that not me a customer who rents these van every fridays to Saturday's.Andriqous M.

1. A staff member was untrained (not a big deal if they have the proper support; the lead customer rep was very rude and lacking good judgement in dealing with a customer especially while training a new employee) 2. Customer service all around didn't have one ounce of care in my disputes, in which I typically don't fuss much, this situation was another story. 3. Initial quote was cancelled by the time I arrived to pick up the U-haul, therefore I had to open a new quote that felt very inaccurate and possibly fraudulent due to the demeanor of the staff. 4. I returned the vehicle back in the same condition with slightly more gas, but was told I owed money for bringing the vehicle in below the gas marker (100% false) 5. The staff had basically zero interpersonal skills. 6. I believe this was a franchise location that should be audited or supervised of their activities, because I am sure there are a lot of other customers that have been displeased, causing harm to U-haul's reputationBrandon T.
