When I needed more space, it was easy to upgrade to a larger unit and later when I needed less, downsizing was just as smooth. CRAIG JMy only complaint is that you Don’t pro-rate at all. We were ONE day late due to days we could be out there. I think our monthly bill was around $168 my guess. I know it is in the contract, but maybe it’s time to rewrite the contract. Even half month back for being out on the 15or 16 would be better than losing it all for a day. I asked twice, and got “it’s in your contract for monthly.” Thank you Jana and Randy Bartels

I did not even leave the pickup town until after the stated return date. I am approaching 68 years old and a very difficult situation.( I was packing the aftermath of a robbery) More time would have been greatly appreciated and very helpful for a senior citizen. Customer service was extremely rude and I did not receive the promised call back from a supervisor as promised.

Brittany S | Overall ExperiencePrice changes every few months is a sickeningly indication of profit-over-people, and while I was informed by staff that a 40% rise in rates in 18 months was both "legal" and "normal in the industry" I just can't fathom the attitude of such brazen profiteering. People and families who need storage the most are the ones most impacted, because it is expensive to move. Most folks are locked in. I think companies that so nonchalantly say that "this is just the way it is" and "too bad" ultimately will and should fade into obscurity, into a category of companies failing to put people first. I found another option, and I urge others to do the same I find rate increases like this -40%- distasteful and outside of the dictates of reasonable human behavior. I lament this decision- making and it's impact on an entire class of American society.

While moving some items I left my framed diploma leaning against my car, drove off and didn't realize I was missing my degree until the next day. I returned to the facility and asked if anyone had turned it in as lost and found--no one had, but the manager asked me what time I left and he went back through the video footage and tracked my diploma to a neighbor unit, where a nice person had picked it up for me. The manager called the neighbor unit's owner, she came and gave them the diploma, and they called me to come get it. This was above and beyond and I appreciate Longmont Storage!

The facility was really helpful and relieved the stresses of moving an entire household across the country. Having a great landing spot for our stuff while we shopped for housing was essential. The staff has always been helpful and nice. The facility is clean. The lockers are secure and well lighted at night. I would definitely recommend.

They have competitive prices, friendly and professional staff and a transparent contract. When it was time to move out and terminate the contract they were very easy to work with and even gave me a personal reminder call the day prior to confirm and made it clear what the expectations were in regards to the final move out time and removing the lock so that I would not be charged an extra month. If you need a storage facility that is honest and easy to work with I would recommend you use Longmont Storage.

This happened to me four times in the six or so months that I used the facility. This is also driving from Boulder. I don’t like driving 15 miles just to find out that I have to turn around.

There was no one to contact and I was stuck in the facility for an hour before police arrived. A person came out of the building after police arrived and let us out, and it was completely unacceptable that he was there the entire time. Upon returning to move out my items, I noticed a Fire Dept. button on the gate code pad, which should have been there since the facility opened. There was no after hour number, and no one to call.

Moved out before the first but was charged a full month's rent due to not giving 5 days notice. My fault for not reading my contract but should have been advised when I was giving my credit card for auto pay. Will never use this facility again nor will I recommend. The guy you have working there is kind and courteous but the heavy set girl with all the piercings was not friendly and seemed to take joy in the fact that I was being charged a full month for not giving adequate notice.
