I had problems with the app and couldn't take pictures and set up like normal. So check in and check out was not normal but the guy there took care of it and was very cool.only used it for 2 hours but the experience was good with them.

Andrew WUpon arriving to pick up my U-Haul Moving Truck I conducted the requested inspection before driving the vehicle back to start loading my belongings. Upon inspection I documented that both cables for the loading door were extremely loose. Then upon arriving to the location it took multiple attempts to open the loading door ( took 2 people and even that was very straining ). I would definitely not recommend letting another customer rent this truck until that door is fixed . Then upon leaving my location to close the door was also dangerous as the door had no resistance to slow it down when it was closing and instead very quickly slammed closed. I will not be renting from this location again and most likely will not rent from U-Haul as I paid almost 90$ for shotty equipment.

Fred GWent to location in Warren but no truck. Eventually sent me to location on Belmont Rd in Youngstown where I waited nearly an hour. Was entitled to $50 since no truck but was required to return to original location first which I could not do. Lost over 2 hours of time plus driving all over the place while I was paying people to help in my move. Ridiculous!

Frederick SThe owner was present and handled the contract / pickup very professionally. I want to address the reservation procedures for U-haul; I am VERY DISSATISFIED with a number of the procedures I encountered in attempting to reserve this trailer rental. [1] I originally made a reservation to rent this trailer at your downtown Youngstown, OH. location. {I did this in person} That transaction was professional and seamless. I was to pick up the trailer Friday evening 10/30/2020 before 7:00PM. I arrived at about 6:15PM and was informed that my reservation had been CANCELED, and the unit was no longer available for rental at this location. I had NOT cancelled the rental agreement. Someone at Corporate SCREWED UP, and failed to properly inform me that this had happened. I was referred to another location, {Lube Management 2915 Belmont Ave Youngstown, OH 44505} And was therefore delayed in my departure, and made my entire pre-planned trip and delivery almost 14 HOURS LATE! This delay cost me a $100 late delivery penalty, all because U-Haul failed to honor the original rental reservation. I am asking to have my rental charges refunded due to the delays and failure to properly reserve and provide the services I paid for. {2} Your phone service is not only difficult to work through initially, but is also VERY inefficient when I [or anyone} attempts to get assistance in correcting an issue. While trying to get this current issue resolved, I was on HOLD twice, for well over 20 minutes. Both times, due to time constraints on my end {I was trying to do this while working}, I had to continue working. My frustration with not being able to call and actually talk to a LOCAL rental center was extremely off putting.

Robert WI was unable to pick up using the mobile app and I was not able to pick up at the time desired because the location did not know how to do this. Better training is needed to provide a good customer experience. I was also given the wrong truck and it was a big hassle to check the truck back in because of this.
David MStaff was friendly on-site and did their best to be helpful. The uhaul app was not functioning well and because of this I had to wait a long time for check-in, standing outside in the sun for about 20 minutes. Location was inconvenient and there was significant oil-change customer traffic.
