I ordered a 17ft truck and an appliance dolly. The dolly was not provided -but included in all paperwork and bill estimates. Lucky Stop was not able to assist with the missing dolly. I called the 800 # and was assisted / directed to go to another facility for it. CS and the other location was very helpful. When I was “checking out” the truck online, I told/ typed the dolly was missing, and this was ignored/ not noted by the person verifying uploaded images, etc. Also had issues using the online site and had to wait 15 mins on hold to be directed to the app. No issues with the app.

Not take one hour to obtain the rental and then 20 minutes to return the rental. Poor service. AND this is not a personnel issue....Its your IT system!

I reserved pickup in my local city 2 mo prior then i get a text day before pickup to confirm reservation and was told i have to pickup in another city 30 minutes away. So i have to arrange a ride to another city. Then i pickup at nee location and they have no furniture dolley I requested. Very unhappy whats point of reservations if you dont nothing is reserved how you planned it.

When arriving, the UHaul rep did not walk us to the truck. Also told us the miles could wrong and they would not be able to change them. The truck was dirty and smelled liked cigarettes. The win-shield was dirty and the wind shield wiper fluid did not work. I was very unsatisfied with the Service and maintenance of the truck.

Pick up was fine with clerk very amenable; however at drop off different clerk was rude and processed payment without asking how I wanted to pay for truck. I held truck with 1 credit card, but wanted to pay for truck with different card or with cash since estimated cost was around $28. She yelled and was disrespectful with a crowd of onlooker/customers waiting their turn. I have rented trucks for many years (15) from UHAUL as I am a female construction General Contractor. I informed the clerk that UHAUL scheduling should have individual site information since they are making the reservations and these were questions I had asked during my years as a customer making phone/online reservations! I informed her she did not have the right to process my rental without first questioning how I wanted to pay. It was a rude, loud and rowdy confrontation until I informed her she needed to STOP talking and listen to what I was trying to inform her about!

With only one attendant, ithere was a short delay at check-in and check out due to other gas customers and the needs for other truck rentals. Representative explained the situation and kept her cool, it was just not a situation we expected to encounter.

Apparently the clerk was totally unfamiliar with how to rent me a vehicle. Even though I filled out the exhaustive rental contract online, complete with photos of both sides of my driver's license, she took almost 30 minutes to input information that was already available back into the computer. All the while on the phone with her manager. She lost at least 2 pre-pay gasoline sales, as she was buried in the phone and ignored everything else. Worst UHaul rental ever and I have had a lot of them.

Then loading ramp was broken. Therfore, I was forced to walk on one side of the ramp while loading the truck. When I called Uhaul to get a new truck their grand idea was to transfer me over to roadside assistance to send someone to fix the ramp. Who has time to wait for that crap when moving out...which is why I hung up and dealt with the shitty ramp as is. However, luckily myself and those helping me move didn't get injured when loading and unloading the truck on a very unstable ramp.

Make sure that your vehicle is clean and not damaged my vehicle I rented on yesterday was very dirty inside and had blood stains on the seats on the side I was very unsatisfied but had no choice cuz I had to move and it was late took me forever to get my truck I was very unsatisfied I will not use this location anymore.and they need to know their prices when you call in the lady quoted me one price I got to the place and it was another price I wasn't happy about that.

This location is a busy gas station/convenience store, which does not have enough staff. The young lady trying to rent the truck to me did everything she could, but the store/gas station was extremely busy. Also, she was not trained on the rental procedure and had to call the owner to assist over the phone. The rental process took over an hour to complete and I made all the arrangements for the truck days before.

NEVER use the 24/7 check in process, it is tedious , not convenient and time consuming. It caused me a major problem and expense because it would not allow me to ad safe move even after I clearly informed verification team member via CHAT, through the process they never added it, the store rep could not assist me after I begun 24/7 check in process it was out of her hands.... 10 minutes later a fender bender and I had no coverage, I ALWAYS purchase coverage... online reservation wouldn't allow it either and I tried making another reservation.... as you can see 2 reservations.

I never went to the Michigan City location. My driver went and we verified my license over the phone. I was still in Illinois. I would definitely use them again. Drop off was very quick and efficient.

The Lucky Stop employees who helped us with our rental, including the reservation, the pick-up, and the return, were just great -- well informed, kind, professional. I would recommendation this location in a heartbeat. We needed the truck to move my 92-year-old mother into assisted living -- already a very stressful situation, and the Lucky Stop employees made the "truck aspect" of this process smooth and easy. The agent that assisted me was excellent. Incredibly helpful. Location isn't the best as is a small but very busy gas station on a busy road so maneuvering larger trucks can be a challenge. My only complaint and reason I will hesitate to use uhaul again is that I made the reservation online to pickup the truck in Chesterton, IN with the understanding that if they couldn't fulfill my request at that location than an agent would contact me and we would agree on another location. I never received any type of communication notifying me of a different pickup location and upon my arrival was unpleasantly surprised to learn that I didn't have a reservation at that location but had to drive 20 miles to pickup my truck at the location that uhaul had decided upon. The only reason I will even consider uhaul in the future is because of the outstanding service I received at the Lucky Stop location and even then, I will be sure to call and make my reservation at the location I'll be picking up from, not online.

The store manager was unhelpful. I had to hook up and detach the trailer and wiring by myself. I had to wait for the attendant to confirm the lights worked between their gas customers. Not good.

The problem wasn't with Uhaul itself, but with the employee on-site. She was rude from the minute we walked in the door & again 4 hours later at the drop-off. We probably wouldn't use this particular location again because of the rude employee.
