Let people know that locations aren't 24 hour drop off. I had to rent a uhaul an extra 3 days because they would only accept drop off from 9am-6pm but I work 9am-7pm. So I couldn't drop off until my next day off. This was an extra $270. Had i known it wasn't 24 hour drop off i would have gone else where. No help from Uhaul corporate at all. Uhaul is the franchisor and could help if they wanted.

Give instructions on where to go exactly so customer does not have to go asking around till they are told where to go. Also, having a bell or some type of button to notify help is needed at the desk for U-Haul since it is inside a Market and the cashiers are on the other registers and never look towards the U-Haul register to see if anyone is there. Last, let customer know they have to take pictures of their rental when dropping off before taking off without the pictures and having to go back.
