Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the mileage on the truck. I drove it a total of 14 miles, but the contract showed 83 miles. I returned it the same day later that evening.. when filling it up I couldn't even put in a gallon of gas. I asked for them to double check the mileage and I received no call or email. This was double the expected total. I know if they were to double check their records it would have shown an inaccurate starting mileage. I hope it was just an oversite and not something that regularly be happens. Although when I picked up the rental the customer in front of me was also asking why they are being cheese twice as they already paid. Thank you Dave Decker Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of the mileage beforehand, but I assumed they would double check and not charge me extra.

We requested a pick up in Houghton, MI and were contacted three days in advance a trailer was not available. Unfortunately, we had to drive 40 minutes out of our way to find a trailer. A little stressful.

The business was grossly understaffed (2 out of 3 employees had called in sick) , but the employee (Zack) who was there worked hard to get us our reserved trailer. There was a delay of about 45min dealing with U-Haul by computer as the trailer( which had been delivered the previous day) had not yet been cleared for pickup. Zack helped with hook-up and got us on our way. No problems during the trip.

We did an online return, since we had returned the truck just as the business owner was departing. When we had a problem with a set of keys locked in the truck after we dropped the truck keys in the drop box, the owner immediately returned to the site to assist us, which we greatly appreciated.

I would only recommend it because Barry, the store owner, is very nice. The lady that works there is super slow, cant spell and took my order wrong, she ordered it for 6 hours when I asked for a 2 day rental but I had it back in 1 day. The next day Uhaul was contacting me looking for it because it wasn't back in 6 hours.

Approximately one month before picking up the trailer, I reserved a 4' x 6'. I called one day before and they did not have one. They on the day of the pick up gave me a 6' x 12' for the price of the trailer they did not have after a call to what was thought to be regional management. They helped me hook up and made sure all was well. The trailer pulled well a potential poor experience was turned into a good one. Yes, it was bigger than needed or wanted, but worked out. To improve customer service, be sure to have the trailer ordered on premises.

Check your pricing i really think I was over charged 204.00 dollars two days in a 5+8 trailer never again will i rent from Uhaul .

I didnt recieve my vehicle on the time promised. The owner of the facility didnt have a dedicated computer for his U Haul business, so I had to wait for him to use his computer for his NAPA auto parts transaction, all in all I waited for an hour and a half for my vehicle. It threw my whole day off . Plus I was paying for movers by the hour. He wasnt very knowledgeable as far as running the u haul business itself. I should have received the bonus for not receiving my vehicle on time, and having to wait sooo long. Never again U Haul. This location was on M- 64 in Ontonagon, MI

my original truck pick up was to have been in Laurium, 2 hours away, but uhaul gave my truck to someone else. Said my reservation was not a guarantee! Had to pay 2 people $100 to get my truck from Ontonagon. Never again will use uhaul.

The employee was running his primary business and was having a busy day. Other employees were standing around not doing anything while I stood there waiting for the person at the desk to finish helping other customers who came in after me because they were there for his primary business. I waited a long time, and the employee did not end up checking me out anyway after all that waiting. He said he was too busy and would just do it in the morning. I had requested that he look at it before I leave to make sure it was clean to his standards to avoid a cleaning fee. He did not have time to do this. I had this weighing in the back of my mind for days, wondering whether he remembered to document that I had returned the vehicle and returned it clean and on-time. I never received confirmation. I also never had to sign anything at drop off saying that I had returned it and when: I specifically asked if I needed to and he said he didn't think so and did not seem too sure. It was a little stressful not knowing whether I had completed the process correctly and accounted for the safe, timely, and appropriate return of the vehicle.

Last time we dropped off U-Haul equipment at this site there was some confusion about the contract drop-off date, no problem this time. They had all the information, and were able to send me a receipt via email.

Clerk seemed unaware that oil level was to be checked by customer at gas fill-up stops as directed at pick-up location and on decal in truck.

Both times I reserved a U-haul truck this month, the equipment was not available the day of my reservation. Instead of one moving trip with a truck, I had to make five trips (2 hours each) with a small enclosed trailer. Not happy! U-haul did not make any attempt to get me the equipment I reserved.

U haul completely misinformed me from the very beginning after I checked with two different sources at each location of the proper equipment that would be necessary. The customer service people we're of no help. The cost to me an extra 4 hours drive time and about $60.00 dollars extra worth of fuel.

Go back to Diesel power trucks so a person can have some fuel mileage. I averaged between 3 to 7 miles a gallon on gas. I ran at 58 to 62 miles an hour. I had only 13,000 pounds total for truck and trailer. I will not rent another truck unless it is a diesel because of the fuel mileage.

Have the correct items in the van. Also, make sure there is no live ammunition in the truck. Live ammunition was found in the glove compartment.
