KENNETH D.I was told to bring truck and car dolly back to Ontonagon. Right before U-Haul called me and told me to return the dolly to Atlantic mine which was way out of the way for me. Told me they would compensate me (they didn't) and when I got to Atlantic Mine the U-Haul person there told me they were going to charge me for bringing it there. It was 2 hours out of my way and then they gave me the run around. No clue who called me. Terrible customer service.

Matthew S.The tie-down straps on the auto-transport (AT) were water-logged and swollen, and it was 0F outside so they were frozen and swollen. So, they simply would not fit into the AT's ratchets to tie the vehicle down. You need to solve this problem.
Henry K.Very nice and friendly service. But the U-haul truck we got was too old. The bearing was found burned out while resting, luckily it was found early and not at the time of the accident. We had to call roadside assistance to tow the truck, unload our own car from the tow dolly, get a different truck, carry all the luggage, and load our own car onto the tow dolly again. This delayed us for 3 hours.

However UHAUL botched up the reservation - by the way I WOULD NOT DO BUSINESS WITH YOU IF THERE WERE ANY OTHER ALTERNATIVE - YOU ALWAYS SCREW IT UP. trailer should have been pulled into shop to deice the ramps and straps - frozen solid an unusable -- the location did not have any strap extensions and had never heard of such a thing

Larry H.Well, I understand not everyone knows how to check out uhauls, but the front desk was stacked with papers and unorganized, the vehicle I was supposed to get, they couldn't find the key. So they gave me another one eventually. Just clean up a bit and have someone on staff who knows how to do it and it would have been a simpler process

kim S.1) Plenty of equipment there, which would have been good if I were moving from Ontonagon. Why not send some of those trucks down to Marquette, where they are needed? 2) I was required to drop off the truck at 9:00 am but the location--a NAPA auto parts center--wasn't open yet. Not a big deal, as far as I was concerned. 3) Clean and inviting? It's an auto parts store, in addition to being an auto repair shop, so, I dunno, you tell me! Stuff like that doesn't bother me, but hey, you asked!
Lyle P.Lets address your incredibly poor computer registration it was the absolute worst and your toll free assistance when registering really sucked. Fortunately real people at the pickup and drop off points were incredibly helfpuf. But everthing else was a total nightmare. I would never rent from Uhaul again. You got some software designer that is a complete idiot. You need to redo your whole system
Chuck H.Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the mileage on the truck. I drove it a total of 14 miles, but the contract showed 83 miles. I returned it the same day later that evening.. when filling it up I couldn't even put in a gallon of gas. I asked for them to double check the mileage and I received no call or email. This was double the expected total. I know if they were to double check their records it would have shown an inaccurate starting mileage. I hope it was just an oversite and not something that regularly be happens. Although when I picked up the rental the customer in front of me was also asking why they are being cheese twice as they already paid. Thank you Dave Decker Unfortunately, I didn't take a picture of the mileage beforehand, but I assumed they would double check and not charge me extra.

There was a delay of about 45min dealing with U-Haul by computer as the trailer( which had been delivered the previous day) had not yet been cleared for pickup. Zack helped with hook-up and got us on our way. No problems during the trip.

The lady that works there is super slow, cant spell and took my order wrong, she ordered it for 6 hours when I asked for a 2 day rental but I had it back in 1 day. The next day Uhaul was contacting me looking for it because it wasn't back in 6 hours.

michael M.Approximately one month before picking up the trailer, I reserved a 4' x 6'. I called one day before and they did not have one. They on the day of the pick up gave me a 6' x 12' for the price of the trailer they did not have after a call to what was thought to be regional management. They helped me hook up and made sure all was well. The trailer pulled well a potential poor experience was turned into a good one. Yes, it was bigger than needed or wanted, but worked out. To improve customer service, be sure to have the trailer ordered on premises.
